I like this editing style
I applied early to ut austin (first choice aero second choice physics) I was an auto admit and had pretty good grades and a 1300 sat score, however I didn't get in and was put into the college of liberal arts as an undeclared major, so ya just dont bum yourself out if you didn't get in, there are others like you :)
New subscriber, rooting for you, great video. Looking forward to your next video/vlog
FREDDY U SHOWED UP ON MY FYP
can i get an autograph🙋🏻♀️
this is going to be hard for me, since im 33 and still in the military the essay part is going to be fun, i know i dont have to take the SAT/ACT
Hey Freddy!
Did you apply for any scholarships or financial aid if so can you please list the ones that you got and how competitive it was
YOOOOOO OK KING
omg! I'm gonna be doing the ece and business dual degree honors program at UT fall 23(haven't committed yet though), so exciting!
WOAHH THATS AMAZING! I was wondering if you could drop your stats/extracurriculars that got you in?? thats incredibleee
Were u in the top 6% by any chance? Do u have advice on getting into ur major if you’re auto admit?
I got in years ago. I wanted to go to the film school but got rejected. People told me to apply liberal arts since nobody really does that and then transfer to the film school once you're in. Totally worked.
What where your extracurriculars and stats that got you into UT CS? Thank you!
awsome video, but idk its a werid process. I have seen so many the applied yo tgis school with 1540 sat 3.9-4 gpa and still didnt get in. and i have seen a couple students that didnt present their SAT had a 3.6-3.7 gpa and an awsome essay and actually got in. I am a domestic student but i graduated in another country, so we dont have sats nor gpa, but i was top 12 in my class, i most all As 1 or 2 Bs. right now i am applying to ut but with no sat becuase as i said before my school doesnt give take SAT, but i still think they will be able to see my grade in my school transcripts.
If you want to improve your essay is it worth it not making the early application deadline?
if youre applying to ut austin are we required to declare a major on the application? if so, where? (sincerely a senior who is extremely undecided 😭)
the sat has dropped the optional essays, what should do? (international student)
what did you get on the sat?
do you have any recommendation for international student apply to UT Austin?

I need some help. I joined high school kinda late, so in my junior year iim low on ecs, and most of them happen in march, so would sending in a priority app before some really good ecs pop up a good idea???
hey Freddy random question: do you know any content creators at UT who might want to get a house or apartment next year?
i'm starting a RUclips channel at UT and was curious if you know anyone on campus that might want to live with other influencers
im a fresh man watching this and failing atm but im gonna get my grades up

Hey, I know it's a year later, but may you talk a bit about the honors program and how you got in?
I had originally planned on applying to UT and the Canfield BHP during my Senior year, but unfortunately, life happened and I had to go to a Community College in my hometown. This year I will be graduating and I'm hoping to transfer to the McCombs Business School as well as apply to the Honors Program. Do you know if they accept 3rd year students into the honors or is it only for the first two years? I've heard that they prioritize students who have already taken classes at UT and are in freshman year, so I'm not sure how true that is.
I'm also worried as my college doesn't have any field-related clubs/organizations I could join, so this past year doesn't have much to show compared to what my high school resume did. I am however part of the SGA, Honor's Society, and Honor's Program here, so I'm not sure if that gives any credit, lol.
Hi! I'm in the exact same boat as you! I'm in cc and during my senior year I was looking to apply to UT and still am 2 years later. From speaking with my guidance counselor, I would say go online and look up UT transfer requirements. As long as you follow those rules down to the T as well as positively sell yourself. You should beat your chance of " being an outlier" in the application process. Good Luck!
My Son got into UT and UIUC physics program, He is conflicted on which to choose ... Can any one help ? we are out of state for both.
Is their financial aid good? im broke but i wanna study here:((
how do i un-cap myself???
💀
Is the priority application only for US nationals/residents?
I just looked on the website, and it appears to be so. Definitely still apply though, I don't think it makes that big of a difference to a point that you wouldn't apply.
I have 1310 in SAT, is there any chance to get into austin?? It's really my favourite public uni in USA
Hey I’m in the same boat right now about to start applying. How did it go for you?
@@MiaTigerSugar I didn't get into UT Austin with that SAT score, but keep in mind that I'm an international student so it's even harder to go to hard public uni. But I did get accepted to texas a&m and some other public uni (not the so hard ones to get in). Hope you will achieve what you expected!
@@PeterVinhPNPThanks for the reply and congrats on A&M!

Should I submit a 1480 SAT score?
Also, what should I do if I don't really have many important extracurriculars other than one summer research program I did over the summer that I really liked? I don't think I can talk about it for multiple questions but I don't really have any other stuff to talk about :(
I think it depends on what you're applying for, but that's definitely a good score. I would say you don't necessarily have to talk about an extracurricular/summer program. You can also talk about other responsibilities you've had especially in your family or community, as long as it demonstrates your qualities. Message me on ig if you have more questions!
Man I feel you. I have a good amount of extracurriculars but they aren’t too related to comp sci which is the major I want to get into..
My son’s current GPA is 4.0 his current SATscore is 1410. Should he have to submit his SAT score?! I am trying to understand how the tuition fee works! If it’s not an auto enrollment by being in top 6 percent.. I am under the impression that everyone not in top 6 percent has to pay tuition fee?! Is it a true statement
Hi, from my understanding, you get automatically accepted for top 6.5% I believe, or it may just be 6%. And that’s just to get auto accepted. Doesn’t include free tuition.
@@jcyohanofficial1443 That is the usually case, but if it is a competitive major it isn't guaranteed.
omg?
Can I contact you please!
