Hello, I really appreciate your tutorial. What I found in most of the node tutorials is we are being told: do this, do that, connect to this point to that point, but it overlooks the why behind it. We can copy every step you do, but whenever we have to create something new from scratch on our own, we don't know how to do it because we don't understand why "Relative" is checked, why we insert that node in between, or why we connect point A to B. Can you make tutorials explaining the principles behind it? Thanks a lot!
Glad you find this video interesting, if you can share this video on social media that will help his channel grow, that I can make better content for you.💚 yes I will too that more in the future
what i'd add to what you said here is - I couldn't even copy every step. Out of all the blender tutorials i've seen so far I could only follow the author step by step with like two of them. The rest 5-10 minutes tutorials would take days to complete. Not that I'm trying to avoid the learning curve and don't want to invest my time, but after watching those tuts i dont really feel like Im really learning

its kindoff like vr sculpting but in vr you can also draw in 3d space since the controller moves in 3d space unlike the mouse on your table you should try it out you would love it! is so fast to consept sculpt its amazing.
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking about trying tilt brush in vr-fill this process of drawing and layering mesh in the air much more organic and playful!

Thank you for your tutorial! I was just wondering what is the point of making a cube before adding geometry node? Can we just add geometry node directly on the curve itself?
Iv thought of creating a curve tool to create human body and face bash meshes but ive never thought of using it to create a sculpt draw tool . This is very creative and should just be a built in tool , cause its amazing and simple to create, i think you can remesh inside of geo nodes without needing the modifier by converting to volume and back to a mesh again .
instantly subbed just for the thumbnail, I LOVE this aesthetic style and the technique you used is really cool, it's inspiring me to go back to Blender and finally learn geometry nodes for good
Glad you find this video interesting, if you can share this video on social media that will help his channel grow, that I can make better content for you.💚
When I want to convert ‘curve into mesh’ in the geometry node section right at the beginning, it’s not showing up after pressing Shift + A. Does anybody have a tip for me? Amazing model and a very good tutorial btw ❤
Hey! Why does curve do not disappear from collection after you delete it? (2:12) It's just the beginning of the video. Also where can i find first pen u used? Thank you!
So, at point 7:45 after going back to my geometry nodes, The cube mesh does not show them in my geometry nodes. I tried the home key with the GN section, nothing. The pull down menu does show the geometry node setup but I can only access it after making a new one. Once I select my original GM setup, the mesh goes back to the bezier curves. Any tips, anyone?!
Thanks so much for the video! When I attempt to use the Mirror modifier on the curve, the curve extrudes rather than mirrors the y axis, any clues why this might be? Thanks!

Hi nenghuo. thanks for awesome tutorial.but i have a problem with remesh, when i dial it down on voxel size, part of mesh disappears, can you guess the problem . ? thank you
Bruh, you stole my last video tutorial :) Just joking, I am glad that many people are trying to develop sculpting capabilities with the "curves" tool, it's very convenient.
Hi! Love your tutorials. However when I try to draw in edit mode on the curve all modifiers from the geometry node cube disapear as if they were applied. I tried different blender versions, always the same :< Did anyone have the same problem and solved it maybe?
@@zeemum16 I was actually ctrlz and repeating it many times until it worked and modifiers stayed in place :p I also changed geometry nodes for single users between the two identical objects before aplying, so maybe that helped. Also using blender 3.3
@@alicjamielczarek6043 I actually found the solution, and it was much much simpler than I thought... so after inserting the remesh modifier I just have to click the correct modifier tab (in this case the geometry node modifier tab) in the modifier properties and the nodes will instantly pops up :D kinda felt dumb after I found this haha
Hii your tutorials are very cool!! I love it! Can you help me to solve one problem with adding a baser to the geometry node editor, maybe you know why there might be such a problem

much better method for sculpting..! Love the vibe of the video.
One question, how did you make those turquoise "lines" in your first version
its because of the Subsurface in the shader, and if the face is intersecting together, you will get this result in cycle.

Hi nenghuo. thanks for awesome tutorial.but i have a problem with remesh, when i dial it down on voxel size, part of mesh disappears, can you guess the problem . ? thank you
