In Canada, almost 100% of the fresh shellfish you eat was caught over on the east coast of Canada and is therefore significantly more expensive. And since thats the running price, local fisherman also hike up their prices for higher profit margins. In west coast canada, your live lobsters should typically run you somewhere in the $15-$25/kg range while crabs will typically be about twice that. If you go to east coast canada where these animals are caught, you can easily pick them up for about $3-$5/kg. Transporting live animals cross country is expensive and has significant loss involved, so you pay a very hefty premium. Anyway theres your shellfish education for today.

Most of the time you can grab both if you focus on the higher points ones first, the red cells tend to stay a lot longer on the screen
