@@bubbawoods1203 was it really necessary ? Looks like the F540 3930Kv takes max 60A and the stock ESC is 60A. So the original ESC should be OK with this motor ?

It's cuz your motor is still same rpm. To get upgraded speed. You need to upgrade motor as well as esc. 90a esc just means it can handle bigger motor and battery.

Can u use any water cooled brushless motor and esc, does it connect to the shaft or u need an adapter???
