You have such such a lovely natural eye for colors that go together. I like that you're so relaxed doing your videos. I'd love to see you do something similar again in reds.
Sorry to hear about you getting sick. Very glad you are feeling better. Just for you online sure have some wonderful colors. You also have been coming up with some great inlays. I am surprised that more resin companies have not started selling their version of the chrome nail art powder. There is a lot of great looking nail art powder. I am glad you went with the blue background. That looked great. 😊
Thank you so much! Yes nail art stuff is so worth exploring. Maybe they don't because the nail art firms have got it covered? Dunno, but I agree, you would thin they would. They've got chameleon and metallics, chrome finish seems the one they haven't picked up on
I’m glad you’re better now. I had my last bout with Covid 2 years ago. Had it twice, and still can’t smell or taste. And I tire very easily. Take it easy on yourself, girl. We all love you. Your projects continue to amaze me❤❤❤
Sorry to hear that. Yes I'm totally fine, I have built up a great deal of immunity thanks to vaccinations so this is the second time I have had it but no more than a cold for 4 days, no after effects thankfully. I hope you get your smell and taste back, that must be awful.
Lovely. The contrast between leaves and background is perfect. On the subject of Covid: I managed to go 3.5 years without contracted that nasty virus. My daughter brought it home to share around the first of September. The whole house, including the dogs were sick for about a week. The humans were all inoculated and boosted. I left for Portugal the first of October. Since I have been here I have had two minor relapses and persistent bronchitis. Apparently this is normal, particularly for people of a certain age. Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to take care of yourself and don't jump back into your life too quickly. I sincerely hope you are totally well and have no problems. But, as my daughter says, Covid is a fickle bitch who keeps coming around.
I went the whole time and then got it this past April... The week I started my new job lol. I started on a tueday, the carer we arranged to look in on my nan while I was at work thought it was allergies then it went through the household. I was horrific, vomiting, and all. And of course my boss was twiddling his thumbs wanting me to come back to work because I work in health care and health care workers are basically expected to work through that stuff. Seconding taking care of yourself, the better you recover the better you can build up defences again.
Im hunting for an inlay for the number 16 ready for my grandaughter turning 16 might have to try making one if they aint too hard to do you have inspired me to think outside the box and try something new so thankyou
Good luck with it. Easiest would be to get a cheap plastic mould for chocolate or cake making and cast silicone in it. Silicone doesn’t usually stick to plastic moulds. I was planning to make some numbers ones like that soon too
@@miniscenesgb oh didn't think of that thankyou I thought I would end up having to do some sort if cut out round numbered candles or something, all new to me never done moulds or inlays in my life
Hi I tried to find these leaves and they are not listed for purchase. Just leaf type 1. I want to purchase type one and the ones you used today. I went to Miniscenes. I have type one in my cart, but these were not listed. I live in USA.
Yes and I've done a number of videos using them. They are pretty amazing too, I have I think every powder, flake and pigment Let's Resin make too, some of my earliest investments for my resin craft. They also come in good sized bottles
@@Ali-H3444 yes it's a very good brand indeed. I have their stirrer and curing machine too, love them. I'll be doing some videos on their PU resin very soon too
Tracy how does this work re copyright as these silicone inlays are from an ‘I love mixed media’ mould aren’t they? As I’d love to start doing inlays but I’m scared what moulds etc I can use.
I no that's not where the moulds came from. I don't have an account with I love mixed Media, actually - not looked at their site though I know Claire mentions them, I'd not heard of them before. Moulds made for cake making and the like, nothing precludes you from selling things made from them as that is the whole point, same as we can sell things we made with commercially available moulds from anywhere. Some of them are made from my own designs hand made too and there is nothing I can do to stop people selling things made from my designed moulds - as again - that is the whole point - we sell moulds for people to make things from.:) Same with the designs I have on Creative Fabrica - they have commercial rights with them
Not really - making the original - or finding an existing thing to make them from - is the trickiest. then once you have the original form for it, like any mould making - lob the silicone in and a few hours later, done. I have a few videos on mould making and it's the same process really. Wendy (Toonpish ) has made some great videos on making inlays too

I'm fine, thanks to all the vaccinations I'm pretty resistant so it was just like a cold for a few days. Just sound a little snuffly now :)
