Wow! My jaw dropped when you turned those over! They are absolutely amazing! They look so three dimensional and have an aged look to them. I really love them!
WOW! These are amazing. My kiddo had a Make-A-Wish trip (something they do for cancer patients) and his wish was to meet a famous paleontologist he had seen on documentaries. We got to meet him and learned all about Ammonites and ALL the fossils in the museum. It was amazing. Can you do molds of the shells/fossils themselves? I would love to make the positive image of them in resin and make them look like fossils. I will be checking these out in your store and hopefully if I can stretch my budget and get some. You do the coolest things! You inspire me all the time. Cheers!
I am delighted with these templates. Each one of them. This shell, from your right hand, depending on the position we place it, can look like a wing. I liked it! 🤩
I love these coasters, they look amazing. I could imagine a thin layer of black over the gold and silver layers so they didn't look transparent. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺🐨
Your videos are so much fun because you are so much fun! Whew, I was so nervous for you. These are fabulous! Love how crisp the inserts are. xoxoxoxoxo
I love how these came out.I thought the silver was going to be too dark, but it’s turned out like frosted glass, and the gold has. This along with the black behind the indents of the moulds makes the frozen in time fossils look 3D ,because it’s made them come forward more..Love these.🥰
Beautiful outcomes. I prefer silver over gold always, but even the gold came out nice. I think the coloured backgrounds definitely added to the 3D effects and that they wouldn't have looked as good clear.
Ohhhh, WOW!!! Julie, these inserts and coasters are *wonderful!* I am in love with these inserts! ❤ I like the silver best, even though I'm usually a "gold girl". 😊 I have *got* to get those metallic inks! I love the black background for the inserts...looks so good!...with the transparent, alcohol ink glitter background outside the inserts. Would these also look good with a sand background, or perhaps a stone-look matrix? My brain is whirling with ideas!
Get the biggest kick out of your videos. Especially when you make a mistake such as overfilling the inlay area. However I’m grateful that you do that because that’s what I do. I also appreciate you giving us ideas of how to cover up those mistakes. These turned out beautifully. So much so I just ordered the inlays: I have so many projects in mind and limited time to do them. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Lol what Christine said! I totally agree. I love how the silver interference is darker but still has highlights that match the pillowy background. Beautiful!
Julie those are fabulous I really love love the different dimensions that you see in all the design girl you’re really beyond our expectations just breathtaking we love you and we thank you for all you do🌹
Wow they are awesome. Beautiful. I seem to remember you doing a seahorse on something but don't remember it being an insert. And I don't recall seeing it on you store. 💕🤗💕
Absolutely stunning outcome Julie. The ammonite looks so authentic. I wonder if the black resin added to that antique look of the interference powder. Both coasters are perfect. Great job. 👏🏻🌺🌴
Good day Julie! The last insert you had is what we in the US call a sand dollar...I had never heard of the ammonite before but I've now googled and learned about them lol....I currently working up the guts to create a new top for my desk under my tumbler turners, I got a new one for there and am going to cover the bits and bobs of glitter and epoxy. I haven't decided for sure if I'm going to do an acrylic pour with neons and glow powder and then covering in epoxy. Or if I'll try to do a marble/geode top....I would love to see you do one of your geodes on a canvas!
When doing the mica, after you dip the brush swirl it in the cap. To sort of work the mica into the bristles. Then buff the mica into the cavity. See if that causes less flying around.
Hi! I really enjoy watching your videos! I make resin items also, and I wanted to give you a tip on how to fix when you over fill. I use a 3cc syringe (no needle), you can get them on Amazon, and just insert into the deepest area and gently draw out the excess. (I’m a retired RN, so this was my logical solution LOL)
Hi, it could work if you start putting it down small end first then bend it and straighten it as you lower each section down to the resin. Give it a try and let me know if it works. Love your work and these inlays are amazing. Karen
It is 10 o’clock in the morning here in Port St. Lucie Florida so good morning Julie. I really like your inserts. The seashells, the flowers, and the butterflies but I would love to order two or three sets. And the shipping on those would be very high. Would you consider offering an optional bundle where I pay one shipping instead of two or three?
I really love these! Wonderful demonstration as always, the colours work so well and what was that about flaps? You made me giggle so that was an extra bonus for me too!
Dearest Julie, you haven’t used those Marabu metallics very much. Possibly two or three other times but they weren’t the same colors. You’ve used a rainbow additive alcohol ink from them I think twice. It is a color shifting one so kinda chameleon like. I am totally in awe of the silver one, wish the gold one appealed to me more but it doesn’t. It is very pretty but more like a metal gold not really like a mineral gold karat color. Just really pretty both of them and the silver feels like I could actually reach out and grab it! ❤️❤️❤️
I believe adapting when changing directions during a project creates character - and I appreciate character! Seriously though, IMO it's part of the artistic process. Lemonade (or lemon meringue pie), in lieu of what could have been bad lemons. I'm not certain what I expected but the end-result was outstanding! Great work, as always.
“ SHUT THE FRONT DOOR” is absolutely right Julie!!! They turned out absolutely beautiful!!! They look like fossilized shells!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Wow! My jaw dropped when you turned those over! They are absolutely amazing! They look so three dimensional and have an aged look to them. I really love them!
Oh Julie!! These are fantastic. I just go nuts when you say “Shut the front door”. I love it. I know that things are going good.
Those interference colors give it a dark mother of pearl look, and burnished! Awesome!

I absolutely love these!!! I should have ordered the insets
The ammonite looks like the ones I have carved out of the marble sea floor they settled into. Very realistic.
OMG! Please let me be your apprentice! WOW!!!!!
Gorgeous

Silver one looks like it's resting on sand. Imo
Great job as always.TY
These are great! I wonder what the difference would be with white in the center vs black?
