I tried this recipe, and omg it was so delicious ! Thank you for sharing 🙌🏼 for a little ending touch, I topped it with caster sugar and slowly blow torched the top a little until it caramelized to sort of transform it into a creme brulee ube cheesecake, everyone loved it ! Will be using this recipe again 💜
Hi! I have not tried this vegan, but I definitely will need to try! I heard that silken tofu would be a great substitute for eggs. That way, the cheesecake can still be thick. Hope this helps!
joemar I’ve found that it makes a stiffer/thicker cheesecake. But you only need a very little bit! I personally have not used a water bath for cheesecake but it’s on my to-do list! For me, using room temp cream cheese, letting it cool properly, etc really helps. 😁
I did not use butter in this recipe actually! If you're doing a homemade crust, it does require 1 1/2c graham cracker + 6tbsp of butter. Hope this helps!
Hi Aimee! Lately I’ve been putting them in the oven for 30min and checking to see if the middle of the cheesecake jiggles slightly. If the entire cheesecake is still looking jello-like and jiggly (lol), then I let it stay in the oven for another 5-10min. Hope this helps! 💜

What is the exact minutes to be put in the oven?

What if you don’t have ube jam? I just have the extract
I haven’t tried it without ube jam yet, so I’m not too sure. I’m sure the extract alone will still add the yummy ube flavor!
350 f or 350 celcius?
Farenheit!
