But as a gay man who has experienced discrimination and bullying when I grew up I can assure you that these wonderful gestures make a huge difference. Such moments give LGBT people and their straight allies the feeling of having WON the battle over bigotry. This feeling of "victory" is so encouraging and so important. I am also greatful that they didn't use an outdated, ugly old diesel train but Britain's only tilting high speed train, a wonder of modern engineering and a reason to be PROUD in its own right. 👍👍👍

Those who expect others to respect their sexuality and sexual beliefs should show similar respect to those people who do not share their sexuality or point of view.

Ah yes, forgetting of course that Manchester Pride was supposed to be this weekend and one of the charities involved in this project was the LGBT Foundation on Canal Street in Manchester. I would suggest also going onto the Avanti website and checking out why it was done for.
