When it comes to interview questions, there are some that can leave even the most confident job seeker tongue tied. One of those questions is the greatest weakness interview question.
While this question may seem like a trap, it's actually an opportunity to show off your self-awareness and demonstrate how you're continually working to improve.
The key to answering this question successfully is to use the STAR method. This stands for situation, task, action, result and I demonstrate interview weakness answers in this video.
If you use this method when answering this question, it's much easier to ensure your answer will include a strong example where you describe the situation (what happened),
the task (what needed to be done), the action (what you did / the steps you took), and the result (what happened, what was the outcome, either on yourself, team, colleagues,
customers or clients in the business). This is also a great method if you struggle with tough interview questions and answers.

My greatest weakness: "I am not the most vocally assertive person, and I tend to err on the side of 'not making waves,' whenever possible, unless something is gravely wrong. However, because I do not complain too much, I find that when I DO speak up, my thoughts are given more credibility." I welcome you, and anybody else, to weigh in on this. Maybe, this is great. Maybe, it's downright terrible. I welcome everybody's feedback on this.
Can we use a past weakness that we have already overcome?
Yes, absolutely - that would be an excellent example simply because you overcame it, you can share the obstacles you faced along the way
