I was thinking of getting either the M8 or the G3, but I'm kind of disappointed by the camera (M8) and the battery (G3). So I thought I'd wait for the new LG Flex since I really liked the first version but was wayyyy to expensive in my country (Romania - Europe). Should I wait for G Flex 2 price to drop as low as the G3/ M8s? What do you recommened me? I do not plan on purchasing another phone for at least 2 years (from the moment I'll get one of these). Or should I get the "cheap" Asus Zenfone 2? I love Asus hardware (got a monitor, tablet and PC).

I wouldn't go for the HTC ONE (M7) it has poor battery life, if you want a phone with good battery go with Xperia Z2 or Z3. I own an Xperia Z3 and it has fantastic battery life.

Can you disable the "double-touch to turn on" function if you want to use only the button on the back? Also, I heard you say that the sound quality of the G3 is mediocre. How is the sound quality through headphones though?

Had to send it back though as it did not work with 3/4G on my carrier :( Got an invite for the One Plus One recently and bought it so I will probably stick with that until the G4, as that is shaping up to be a stellar device. That is unless I find the OPO too big, in which case I'll have to try and find a 32GB G3 that works with my carrier :/

i am confused to why this phone is "new" in canada i passed by the kiosks in the mall and they all are saying that the lg g3 just came to them...sooo anyone can explain ?
M8 has better speakers, software(much smoother), build quality but G3 has a 2K screen(most people don't notice the difference), better camera and better battery life
***** to be honest you can't escape it. Even HTC one M8 got it as well. So It doesn't matter which phone you get. You can't do nothing about it. So get any phone you want or like.

G3 is 5.5 inches and i would get the G3 I am in the same situation as you, and the G3 seems the best out of them all.
Actually the z2 is better, only the screen is not quad HD (thats not even noticeble) but fir the best xperience i should go for the lg g3
