Not from FN but I’m sure 3 party’s will. I think mine was a one off. T-Rex arms has a video with the reflex putting down tons of rounds and it held up. I think most glocks have polymer guide rods so polymer isn’t the issue I done think.
@@lb.sfirearms Yeah I had to fight to get it far enough back to lock the slide but I eventually got it. It’s still sticking after I lubed it up and put the slide back on.

I am a huge FN fan, I hope it’s just a one off but ya, that’s what happened to mine. Mine is an early release so maybes it’s been addressed? The sizes is great for CCW, front sight is great and easy to pick up.
@lb.sfirearms it's my favorite pistol. 😍 I built mine from a pawnshop find, since I was getting a new barrel and all. I had to work out a feeding issue when I put it all together (had to polish the breach face a bit) she has been true ever since. Underwood ammo works the best for 460. @@lb.sfirearms definitely wild. Now I’m nervous to carry it when I do get it back lol I’m thinking about getting a Glock or something with proven reliability to carry instead
@@Lifewithdes222 the 509 have been ok for me, I plan on doing a video on what guns have gone back for what. I just picked up My first Glock so we will see

🤞I have not had a failure, but I dislike the polymer guide rod. I do expect that will be one of the first after market parts available besides sight options. I watch mine like a hawk for any stress cracks and I have a brand new spare when they happen. I have a lot more rounds through mine than that, so I would have to say this is likely a manufacturing defect, but I am not an expert. My Ruger SR9c had a polymer guide rod and I replaced it with a stainless one as well. I have contacted a few of the smaller after market machine shops, they seem to be the quickest to come up with a solution.👍 Nothing yet though...
Why the F do you have rounds in mag when doing a video. Use snap caps if you have to. The trigger itself is fine but the reset is long but I like the trigger 🤔. The reason why it’s long for safety it’s hammer fire not striker fire that is why plus the pull is light . Like a Para LDA or a H&K LEM trigger or a Walther PPX
I’ll admit, this is the first time that anyone has gotten on my about rounds in a magazine lmao, wow! Yes it has a long reset, yes I like the trigger? I can’t like it if it’s got a long reset? I’m confused… Not sure you answer actually makes sense, I have 1911s that are hammer fired and have a short reset and I feel they are pretty safe… Thanks for watching though.
I have a BLACK FN REFLEX MRD WITH AN HOLOSUN 507K AND BLACK POINT TACTICAL WING IWB HOLSTER it's my EDC. NO PROBLEMS WITH MORE THAN 5000 ROUNDS.TIGHT GROUPS.
Great holster for the FN REFLEX MRD IS A BLACK POINT TACTICAL WING IWB HOLSTER. You can wear your reflex all week long. Great red dot HOLOSUN 507K. BLACK POINT TACTICAL Also makes great IWB MAG HOLDERS.
We need some upgrades for these guns. Tungsten guide rods, trigger shoes maybe some springs etc
Hmm, never thought this needed all that
Thanks for the update! Do they have a metal replacement guide rod available? Curious?

I could use a holster. Just picked up my Reflex a month ago, excited to start carrying it!
It fits nicely into a g43x holster
Yeah I was gonna say I’m probably late but I legit just bought my reflex and looking for a holster
Can anyone confirm that both Hellcat and Canik Mete holsters work for the Reflex MRD?
Ill take the holster. Looking to get a reflex next.
I just took mine out to shoot today. Bought it Friday can’t even get the slide back far enough to rack a round. Something’s catching… 😢

@@SmallVictories9 man, that’s rough. I say call FN (they don’t answer emails very fast)
Shit I need a holster but I'm having a loading problem should I send it in or sand it down myself
The gun won’t load? For sure send it in, their customer service is great. Call though, they duck at emails.
I like the FDE color but many show and say the slide FDE doesn't last. It wears quick. Not good...
Ya, the black seems to be holding up for now…
Good video
Why thank you
I've heard you shouldn't dry fire it. Has something to do with the hammer trigger. You can look it up if you want.
Interesting, I’ll look into to it.
