The FN gives more barrel length in the same size package. I have several guns in this category, the FN is almost match like in its group size. I very much like it, but I think I prefer the Shield Plus. Both are great, but I find my dot easier with the Smith and Wesson. Choosing between the 2 is a great problem to have.

I’m okay with no manual safety, but I really wish it had a hammer decocker, so the initial trigger pull on the first round would be heavier.
I’d buy a second one if it had that feature.

    Another great, comprehensive video. Thanks.
Good to see an old, respected manufacturer putting out good, modern, well thought out firearms, still.

I was looking at the Reflex at my local shop for 499. Ended up choosing the optic ready Sig P365 for the same price. But, you’re right - feel, size and in the hand, they feel very familiar to each other.

I'm still keeping my P938 Legion on probation for a couple hundred rounds, so I am currently in the "micro CCW" research mode, this FN is on my short list! Thanks for the video!

I did not know the reflex the hellcat and the Sig P365X was that close in size. I have an FDE version of the Hellcat right in front of me. I also have a P365X right in front of me. The reflex is basically the same gun, so it makes no sense for me to get one. An internal hammer is not enough to push me over the edge.

Any problems at the range with this? Like other video reviews I've seen. How does it compare to a G43X?

In my opinion, the G43x is just better overall. The FN has a rough grip which can tend to hurt after a couple rounds. Definitely had some kick back and for me was a bit harder to handle. The trigger is lighter than the Glock trigger, which to me is a downside. Safety on the Glock trigger definitely feels safer for daily carry vs the FN not having a safety, and the trigger being a bit more sensitive. But the most important part, the FN did have issues at the range. Jammed every 3-4 rounds. Currently shipping it to FN to have them hopefully fix the issue. I really wanted the FN to replace my G43x but for now will just be a secondary/ back up daily carry.
Just my opinion of course. Before I purchased I watched a good amount of reviews and they all were similar, stating that it was a good gun and had no issues. But unfortunately for me and apparently many others the gun has issues. Issues with it jamming and it shooting down and left. Like I said, I really wanted to like the FN more than my Glock but so far the Glock just continues to feel like the overall best micro pistol.

Good review. For me, no manual safety on these small pews, no purchase. The Hellcat and Sig 365 does offer them as an option and imo options are very good.

15 round mag is just too long. They made a huge mistake not offering a 13 round mag
