I agree. I currently own 11 FNs. 2 ARs are great & The FNs ( FNX 9, 40 & 45 Tactical) FN LS Edge, 509 Tactical, FN 509 compact, FN Compact MRD, Midsize & Midsize MRD to me don’t require many aftermarket parts.
Love my 509CC Edge and this will be my next purchase..then the 545!! I’m becoming a huge FN fan

Got an fn fnp45 and the mid 509. Wasn't a fan of the 503. Lookin forward to checking out this one.
I have a black FN REFLEX MRD WITH AN HOLOSUN 507K AND BLACK POINT TACTICAL WING IWB HOLSTER. its my EDC love it.
Can’t wait for people to side by side this and the mete mc9 because. Those seem like the best 2 triggers out there in this class. Maybe the recoil and sights are a difference maker for this gun.
My daily is my 503 with an extra 8 rd mag. At home is my 509 Midsize MRD.. Glad to see they came out with this one, but it isn't enough for me to pick up when I am comfortable with the other two. Thanks for the video.

make a macro with a hammer instead of a striker fired gun. That be nice. Especially as many that carry appendix in todays market.

The Docter and Shield RMS footprints have been around over 20 years, and they ought to be the only ones. Even Holosun couldn't leave well enough alone, and screwed with the RMS standard. Four posts do a better job of locating the sight and reducing shear loads on the screws.
I love my FNX-460 😂 one of these would be a good upgrade from the P365 ankle gun 😅

@@daveridlen8630 yeah they made a great gun for sure. This new FN looks like it upgrades the trigger greatly for faster shots...that's a big deal to me in a 'point blank' situation..also the rifled barrel is awesome 😎 worth the price IMO. I'm going shopping for one of these tomorrow

It's almost June and nothing.
I hope the trigger is much improved because the 509 triggers are pretty terrible.
Being hammer fired should make it 10000% better than the 509s trigger.
It's why APEX Exists 🫢
The MRD LAPD trigger on the full sized FN 509 is actually very good. It’s not VP9 or PPQ/PDP good but it’s very good.
The Reflex trigger is probably the best trigger on any micro 9.

FN Reflex is cool and all but the prices on the pistols just a little bit bigger how about a little bigger then the reflex double stack 10mm a smaller version of the FN X-10??? Orange is different, I switch all mine out for green.

The audio dosen't go with the nice studio. Need to hire a studio guy with some knowledge.

Ive shot it, great gun, but still like the MC9 a lot more.
Have you had any malfunctions with the MC9?

I’ve been holding out on Micro Carry’s because I thought FN would finally be the ones to put an ambi slide release on theirs…. Kinda disappointed

Had to make it hammer fired because their strikers are shit. 509 has terrible strikers they’re known to be unreliable and break right in half.
@@mattmurphy7030 do some quick research about striker issues with fn and you’ll find out it’s fuckin thousands of others it’s been a major problem. I hope you own one and it fails on you when you need it one less dick head in the world
