- I’m very proud to be part of the Helix Artist Tone Collection by @official_line6 ! Here’s a performance I made with my new Helix preset! The preset is built with 4 snapshots ranging from my clean jazz tones to my usual distorsion and lead sounds! The song I a solo section from one of my original songs called “dropD” (I know, pretty banal name, suggestions welcome 😂)

He's playing one in this video. Look closer. It's built in Yamaha's custom shop, has different gold hardware (locking tuners etc) and different pickups from the stock professional. Matteo has described it as a 'prototype' of a signature guitar. TBH though you may as well buy the Revstar standard, put locking tuners on it and change the pickups as pay through the nose for a signature version of the professional.
The fact that he plays like this in his twenties - imagine what he'll be doing in his thirties. An absolute modern day phenom.
I'm not sure you know what you're talking about. Haven't you heard of child prodigies in classical music, who could play the most difficult pieces of the repertoire at the age of 10 or even earlier. A lot of them became leading maestros as adults, but some of them petered out. In music performance, age is not a guarantee of steady improvement because there are other factors involved.
Hopefully not tendinitis, carpal tunnel or some similar injury. The greats seem to figure out technique that’s minimally stressful and Matteo is a or The bleeding edge technician …so hope he has a long and pain free career playing as fast as he cares to.

Your reply gives YT comments a bad name, dog. It's totally devoid of any logic or knowledge of English words and of psychological terms. "Imagine" in montlejohnbojangles post's context means that he DEFINITELY believes Mancuso's playing will inevitably get better as he ages, which cannot be predicted with certainty, based on the biographies of so many other musicians. Many of them reach a certain plateau in their 20's and remain good but don't necessarily progress beyond that. Also, you have no clue what projection means. I would be projecting only if I were a professional musician who was once very successful and whose playing has deteriorated with age.
I consider Mancuso the best guitarist working at this point in time, but how he will develop is anybody's guess. I hope he keeps progressing, especially in his writing abilities.

@@nicklevi5537 e ora abbiamo avuto anche il piacere di sentirli suonare insieme. Matteo sebbene si è confrontato su un terreno più consono ad Al, comunque è riuscito alquanto a tenergli testa, insomma non ha sfigurata affatto. Bellissimo l'entusiasmo che aveva Al di suonare con Matteo.

Although he's slowed down in his old age, in his prime, no one could touch Steve Howe. But, Matteo is excellent for sure.

La scioltezza, la naturalezza con cui passi da una corda all'altra sono un qualcosa di unico. Passare dal tocco libero al tocco appoggiato come se niente fosse, la grande conoscenza teorica e la cultura musicale si vedono e si sentono. Sai quando essere delicato e quando essere incisivo. Non voglio dilungarmi ulteriormente, sei veramente di ispirazione, ti auguro il meglio!
Matteo dimostri sempre di avere un vocabolario vasto, fatto non solo di tecnica ma di melodia che trasmette emozioni. Grande ammirazione e orgoglio della nostra terra siciliana.

The less mechanical an pattern based, the better. You're one of the best. I can't stop watching. 1:12-1:16 was my favorite part; It reminded me of harmonica.

His technique is an advancement. There's no question about it. He never fumbles a note and everything is crystal clear no matter how fast or sophisticated. When you use a pick and get going really fast, there's a slight muddiness that is unavoidable.
I don't care who we're talking about. Lane, Govan, Ostrow, whoever.
On hammer-ons and tapping the difference is less noticable, but on picked material, particularly stuff that crosses strings or involves arpeggios, Matteo's clarity stands out.
It is what it is and there's no use denying it.
Fluid. Accomplished. Brilliant.
