The funny thing is the new BMW M2 is also over 1750kg, and the bigger performance Euros are around 1900-2200kg. Makes the VFs and FGs feel light on comparison if they're set up correctly.

Performed in real world street conditions, with different individual cars and varying climates. Ross’ channel is not a prepped track, equally setup showcase.
What he does best is street machines on a decent bit of tarmac, a dragy and the numbers they pull (at that time) on the street!
Brett’s VF is an animal either way. The VX would have to take the cake for all out, balls to the wall track shredding. And the soundtrack is symphonic too! 🥵

After watching this Im chuffed at getting 4.9s in my xr6t. 245tyres with michelin ps5. Ps4 tyres low 5s best could do with 310rwkw and350rwkw.

Pretty awesome. We did a 4.3 in a standard 2019 10 speed mustang on the street with street tyres and shit ones at that, in standard drive mode. Would be interesting to see what it could do on the track with radials and a warm up.

Love these cars huge power but best for me is one fast and can corner
My FG GT 0-100 draggy time on the street the best i got is 3.58 and average is around 3.7 500rwkw but it is on 15s hero was getting 4.2 with the 17s with toyo tyres

@@RossReviewsau Hi mate, I have a fg xr8 ute. Full engine build with a wipple supercharger. Producing around 1150rwhp. Still running 6 speed manual, completely big breaks fully built suspension front and back(no leaf spring on back. It's one of a kind. Let me know if you are interested.

My 300 hp supercharged brz manual does 100 kmh in 4.1 on street tyres
Ross from memory you tested these 2 cars on public roads and the results were
Lexus ISF 4.4 seconds 0-100
FG XR6 Turbo Stock 4.9 seconds 0-100
Not tested with the dragy! And both not supercharged V8s

The FG XR6 Turbo were faster than a lot of these heavily modified Supercharged V8 that's impressive

Come drive my APR S4....3.5 secs. The noise from the supercharger makes the balls tingle 😂And yes. It's my daily... Power is no good if you can't put it down 🚀 Come drive it next time Ur is Sydney 🤙

Ford made a masterstroke in subcontracting out the transmission development to ZF. At these power levels the shift quality is critical.

Holden guy here but totally agree, the ZF stuff is smart and tough. I've got a 6L80 in my SS. It'll cop abuse but its dumb compared to the ZF in my missus car.
@@LadzeeFixes ZF & AISIN are fluid drive & mechatronic specialists. Manufacturers have shown on many many an occasion that the complexity is over their heads!

It’s insane but also just incomparable.. it’s a fast fridge but these are works of art 🤌

True but now you have EV manufacturers putting speakers into their cars to give them the note of an ICE. Sad. EVs have some massive cons.

Great reviews on all these builds and all, but frankly many find the 0-100KPH tests utterly useless, unless of course most owners that spend upwards of $50k on their vehicles like the idea that a tuned Hyundai i30N is still quicker..Why not test the true performance ability on in-gear times, say third gear pulls from 40-110KPH..that's a show of true performance testament.
I wish I could test 100-200 but unfortunately I have no access to a good enough straight and unfortunately 0-100 is as good as it can get for consistent regularity.. I know it’s not a true representation that’s why we do a few cheeky pulls in Mexico but can’t show the speed 🇲🇽
