I will never, ever judge a fragrance off of the first few sprays from a BRAND new, never sprayed bottle! In fact, every single bottle that I buy, I’ll spray a few times on both wrist and put it back in its box and let it sit for at the very least - a week or more.
Every time someone says “I just got my bottle in and it doesn’t smell like how it did in the store so now I’m returning it.” I’m like - YOU GOTTA LET IT SIT!
Also, I will never open my curtains during the day. 😆 I have two shelves on two separate walls filled with my B&BW and my season perfumes. My husband collects his own “things” that can’t be around heat and sunlight. Our room stays dark and cool. We have lamps all over my room. The sunlight or heat is not allowed in my room!

I definitely agree that your taste changes when it comes to fragrance. I gave away Burberry Her when I first got it because I couldn’t get past the woodsy note. About a year later I gave it another chance and wished I would have kept it! I absolutely love your eyeshadow! Great video as always.

I am hollering over here, because I was called into the office on Friday with the ask of me no longer wearing my scents. You smell amazing and we all know when you hit the floor but the patients may have a reaction. In my heart of hearts I knew I should not, but since were have all had to endure this pandemic it is my coping mechanism.

I can’t be giving my fragrances away. The struggle is real and I sell em for the next love of the year. I’m a seller and a buyer but I guarantee my bottles are well taken care of 👌😁… I straight up can’t afford to be giving $300 bottles away for free 😣

I loved this video! Loved the content - what a twist on a fragrance content video. Loved your presentation- funny, informative, all without putting anyone down. One of the things I stopped doing (or greatly reduced) is the practice of blind buys. I now purchase trial sizes/samples and go from there. (Point taken about sample performance). Thank you for sharing your extensive fragrance knowledge. ❤😊

One thing I never do is throw away samples. If you get a sample that you think is o.k., but isn't full bottle worthy, you can save it to bring with you to wear on a week long vacation so you have some variety. It's also good because you may try something that you hate, but then a year later it turns into something that you love because of scent maceration or you changed your diet & the scent works better on your skin
I've heard people do that. I personally like to carry 10 ml decants with me ob vacation of fragrances that I absolutely love, can't wait to wear and want to create memories with. On vacation I want to feel my best self, and a fragrance that's so/so coming out of a 2ml container isn't going to cut it 😩😩

“Are you moisturized?” 😂 #1 tip for sure. I just gifted a friend a Nishane scent and she was so happy with it but then she sprayed and started rubbing. I’m officially a fraghead because I went “Noooooooo” and looked like that guy in The Scream 😱 trying to stop her from rubbing it in.

Haha I get what that person said about not letting them see your collection, not bc I think they would steal but I would low key be embarrassed for someone to see the size of my collection 🤣 I just know they wouldn’t understand. Most people in my life (family/friends) own 3-5 fragrances compared to my collection is almost at 150 😅

I love to be able to sample a fragrance through a decant rather than blind buy- but I feel the fragrance loses something in the decant process. I may be wrong, but the full bottle always smells better. Love your videos!
You're 100% right. You never know how one decants and how long the fragrance was exposed to air. I decant my own fragrances for my personal use since i love to reapply. Thanks for watching.
I would not think twice about wearing a favorite scent to bed. I like perfume on me 24/7 and after my shower for bed I always spray something delicious.❤

Great video! When I was in high school my senior year, I remember when I bought my first big perfume(Issey Miyake) girl I was spraying it in the air and walking into the perfume, spraying it on my wrist and rubbing it😂😂😂I really didn't know any better! And I had the nerve to get mad because I was wondering why it didn't last that long on me!! Mine you I paid like $130 at the time, that was alot for me because I was spending my own money i worked for! The more you learn😅😅😅

I understand what the one girl said about letting people know you have a collection.when I was younger I always had a makeup/perfume room and would keep a lock on it.had a party, must have gotten out what was in the room,someone picked the lock and alot of my prize fragrances were stolen.😢I reported it of course and found out who did it by word of mouth and brought them to court,got my money back but some fragrances were discontinued and sentimental to me and couldn't get those back.what I learned from that is trust no one!sad but true.😮

People believe rubbing the fragrance heats up the alcohol and helps it evaporate. Under all the alcohol is oil. What they don't consider is heating up the molecules causing them to change chemically.
I learned to decant all my fragrances bc of you! Same I love to top off when I’m out and if I loveee a scent but longevity is not great.

If I could do this all over, I’d definitely not fall the hype, I’d also no collect, I’d sample first, and ask make my own judgement on any fragrances that I may be interested in. To piggyback off of that, I’d take those fragntica reviews with a grain of salt, some of those people are crazy 😂😂.

Girl, I said I would never sell my fragrances. You hit the mail on the head. I am very conscious about my purchases. I don’t purchase “ it’s all right fragrances”. I purchase fragrances “. Damn this is delicious”. If I am in the mall, I will walk around. I have said no to fragrances only to get home and make a b-line after it settles.

I never judge a fragrance by the impression I get off a blotter/paper strip, just smelling the initial 20 seconds, and then totally dismiss it to never look at it again. You will NEVER smell the perfume the way it was meant to be. I think that is such an superficial attitude, and I can't really respect so-called perfume lovers who do that.

I wouldn’t judge a fragrance from only smelling the cap OR only on a blotter OR on initial spray out of the box. Also wouldn’t judge immediately after opening bottle - I hate when reviewers do that on videos with out giving it “a proper wear test” = on their skin and more than once. You really need to give a new bottle some time. I spray them right out of the box after opening - typically 8-10 times as soon as I get them home - to let some of the top alcohol out and to get some oxygen inside the bottle, then I let it sit in a cool/dark space with cap open for a while to let it oxidize and rest. Fragrances can definitely change and get better with some time. Best example of this is vanillas and you actually see the vanilla getting darker in the bottle as it ages/sits. Also, you MUST test them on your own skin as everyone’s skin chemistry is different and everyone’s nose smells the ingredients differently (e.g., Ambroxan is a large molecule that some noses can’t smell it because the molecules are too large for that person’s nose).

Can you do a top ten of what irritates you as somebody's who's into fragrance. For example, people outside the community thinking you are crazy for having so many fragrances. The sales assistants that won't leave you alone/ don't know anything about fragrance the list goes on....

I don't sell anything. I have a low to no declutter. I use everything I have. I decant my perfume for travel. I purchase a label maker and atomizer.
Same here! I have tons of travel atomizers. I picked up some cute bright pink rubber bands and I store the fragrance and the atomizer attached together so I’m not hunting for the decant when I wear a fragrance for the day. I always refresh my fragrance during the day.

Every fragrance I have I love them. I am hestitant about purchasing another person’s fragrance. Now, I would purchase from some of the influencers I watch. If I purchase from them, trust I have watched them for a couple of years. I would purchase yours with the quickest. Your space looks clean and you are polished. If you get on RUclips looking jacked up, I ain’t gonna buy from you! If you don’t care about how you present yourself, I will assume you don’t care how you treat your fragrances.

Hey Friend. 🩵 I would never share my fragrances with anyone. That’s one part of my body care I’m selfish about. I would never bring my fragrances with me when I go out, even if they don’t last long. I don’t like to reapply them. I would never spray my fragrances before applying my body oil or wet skin moisturizer. I would never not overspray. I unapologetically spray heavy.

Not at all. Rubbing makes the top notes break down. So not only us it altering the scent but weakness the performance

In reference to making sure we keep the caps on our fragrances...I have a few fragrances that didn’t come with a cap. Montale and Replica for one does not come with a cap. What’s the solution to that?
I didn't say it thinking it was obvious...my bad. If it doesn't come with a cap it's different since it's made in a way where air only goes in of sprayed. However if it comes with a cap, keep the cap on as it's meant to be on. Hope that helps 😊

I sold my Victor & Rolf “Good fortune” QUICK! That jasmine was so cloying I hated it! I’m quick to sell my fragrances if my tastes change, and their ain’t nothin wrong with that. I also sold my replica beach walk (can’t stand coconut pineapple fragrances) and I’m still tryna sale my Kayali sweet diamond pink pepper because I’ve had it since launch, the big bottle, and we all know Kayali gets stronger the longer you let it sit, and that PEPPER note is so damn strong! I can’t stand it!!! It used to smell beautiful, but over time that pepper in it is 🤮 I never rub my wrists. I spray behind my neck, behind my ears, inside of my elbow, clothes, and behind my knees in any creases it sticks most. I don’t have friends so I ain’t giving nobody nothin unless it’s my grandmother or my mother n law. I’ve given her quite a few fragrances, but I don’t have any friends that wouldn’t do it for me lol sorry if that sounds ugly, but friends round here in Tennessee are fairwether. They all in a secret competition always and will knock you if they know they can get ahead. Sorry my expensive fragrances ain’t goin to none of them lol I love my woody, smoky, fruity, leathery fragrances the most!

I've NEVER understood the spraying into the air and walking through! What a wast! The perfume bottles without the lids look sloppy/untidy.
