Dan, have just bought Geekoto GT200 and it with Godox X1T-O (for Olympus). M-mode works, even HSS is ok, but TTL is "blank".. is there that some Godox triggers work and some not? And yes, "that A" mode is engaged on the flash
Same I hate sponsored videos who can trust what people are saying because of course they want to keep getting more stuff honestly I'd say about anything to get a better flash system
Is possible to use the Neewer Flash Strobe 200Ws 2.4G TTL Flash Light 1/8000 Monolight with my 60D canon? If yes would you please tell me where to find the info? Thanks Bishop Mack
Dan, at 4:20 in, your voice-over says you are comparing a speedlite to the GT200, but the video shows the words "No Flash" to the right of the image. Which it is? Were you comparing the GT200 to a speedlite or to no flash at all?
I hope they decide to release just the strobe by itself. I wouldn't mind trying it out as a back or rim light in my current Godox setup if the price was right.
@@Richie5480 Thanks! So it's only $20 cheaper than an AD200. The Geekoto doesn't have a bare bulb flash the AD200 has but does come with some flash modifiers. Not sure that's low enough for me. If they had priced it at $250 I might be tempted.
I'm not sure what you mean. This kit offers PLENTY of light. I used a 2nd flash behind the model but that is optional. It wasn't a very sunny day so I wanted a bit of pop behind her. But 1 of these lights is plenty for a key light
I already own some Godox lights. and my Godox soft boxes fold up smaller than that one you have in this video, and they open and close way faster also, but I am still curious about this Geekoto. and how it compares head on with the Godox AD200 ? since I could use it with my Godox controller. so is your wife doing her work with the new Canon mirrorless now ? or is it just something you are testing ?
Imagine a Godox AD200 that you HAD to get from Godox, and couldn't get decent customer service from e.g., Adorama. Also, imagine it's locked to the fresnel head at all times and you can't use the highly versatile bare bulb flash. And imagine it came with a small softbox (easily replaced on the market) and a generic lightstand of unknown manufacture and long-term quality/reliability. That's this light.
It looks like it might be off the market at the moment for whatever reason on amazon but you should be able to still get it at Geekoto's website: www.geekoto.com/gt200
Thank you Dan. May I know how the GT200 performs vs. the Godox AD200? And is the Geekoto fully compatible w/ Godox X series triggers-- you can change channels, groups, power levels?
WOW, this is a great video. Thanks for sharing!

Man Im through buying the latest great this and that ... Im just going to make great images with what I have

Can two of the Geekoto be powered together like the Godox AD200 to double the power output, I can't seem to find this information anywhere?
Does it compare to the AD200 PRO or is it more a generic basic AD200?

So actually there was a speedlight in that shot. It should have said "no GT200" or "speedlight only"
looks just like the evolv/godox with hexapop kit but a little neater. damnt, i already got the other package.
Dude what bag is that you are carrying your gear in??? great video
So rectangle bag came with the lights but my camera backpack is this: bhpho.to/31lJDrn
Right now I use one of these pretty often too: bhpho.to/3ENL13t
Exactly the same as the Godox AD200, and that is my favourite tool right now.
How bad is C.A pincushion in the center of confusion with this light? Does it improve at or above 1/300?

They said they were but I couldn't find it on Amazon. Maybe their website?
Gerald Bertram Photography I just looked it up on Amazon & it’s there at $279.
Check out the Yongnuo YN200 which is cheaper version of the AD200

Could you please do a video no how to set your channel on this strobe system? It's a little challenging for me, thanks
So how does this compare with GODOX AD200 and do you think I could use this as second light with one with approximately the same power?
Seems to be the same max power as the AD200 and works off the same trigger so you can absolutely use this as a 2nd
Yongnuo now makes the YN200 which cost even less
is it necessary i get the extra light because first you said it is powerful yet you needed an extra light...so what should i get altogether?

@@learningcameras THANK YOU SO MUCH. You answered my question. I just did not want to think I have to get two of them. My budget is small.lol
does the geekoto zoom? Cause the Godox is fixed. Thanks

That's this light.
Calculate: Godox is around 300 euros versatile, yn200 - 140, Triopo F1-200 - 170, and later both don’t have overheating problem
Where can I buy the Geekoto GT 200?

Can u tell me softbox size??
24 inches
When did you guys switch to canon i thought you guys shoot shony
We own every system since we do so much testing. We do like shooting Canon for portraits and the flash trigger was Canon so that's what we shot with
Indian price list
Porque noves concreto, habla demasiado
Geekoto is from China I'll pass.
Just another copy of Godox AD200
