Thank You Terry for sharing a Nice Line-up of 1911's. I have a series 80 Gold cup with the same Adj.Trigger and Honestly the 80's trigger is not bad enough to pass, Beleive me It is Wicked accurate and so is my 2nd series 80 Gold Cup I got a good deal and It has the collet bushing! I will agree I would prefer it in the 70 series just like You for the collecter value but the 80 series should not be overlooked imho!
@scottwilson1258 very cool. Never lass up a good deal!!! Thank you for watching
The 70 barrel bushing snag, how fricken neato cool to find that fact out thanks Terry .
Isn’t it sad that Colt defended the government yet the government insisted on marring the Colt design for doing so..
Who knows though , maybe Colt was told by the government on how to manufacture the new Python rear sight 😂
@@user-ve3bw5jj2j lol. This might be true about that rear sight!!!!!
Good video and even better you kept them stock. Just pure Colts
@mikecoram397 thank you. I would not do anything to modify those colts. I have other 1911s with all the bells and whistles on them. Thanks for watching
@@TerryBenton funny I have colt will all the Wilson bells/. I took out the shock buffs, extended guide rod. Etc. and it’s more reliable..I’m not good enough to tell if if affects accuracy..of course I kept the 3 pound trigger. I’m not crazy
@@mikecoram397 the buffers usually do nothing
