I bought this device many months ago and I have 0 regrets. This is the best thing I've ever owned, EVER. I love it so much I wanna marry it
hello daidus
@@chadustitanius9110 hi kira :)
Any complaints about it?
Can you use it with out a laptop or Mac ? And can you animate on it ?
Hello sir I'm bit surprised 😮 your here!
I want to thank you for this video -- and I'll tell you why. I'm not a professional artist with deadlines and a schedule. I have something that's equivalent. I'm a 75-year-old who won't die happy unless I leave behind some of my cartooning artwork that has been always been so popular with my friends and loved ones. I want to make a graphic novel about my experiences in the Vietnam War. Instead of of deadlines and schedules I have heavy-duty emotional hangups about my project. I must not be impeded by technicalities, distractions or a learning curve. I will be doing this work in bed, on the sofa, out of the house in the library or coffee shop and on a road (maybe). Its high price is doable for me, but wow. Your review has convinced me that the 16" StudioPro might get me through the self-discipline (my very weak area) and the emotional work that I know I'm facing. I've been using a Wacom Intuos for several years with various software, so I won't be starting from scratch. Thanks to you, I'm convinced that the StudioPro is what I need. Thanks.
Please do anything you can to achieve that goal. I may not be a professional artist, but I know damn well the feeling that eats away at you for not being able to tell your story. Tell it and maybe let me know when I can buy it when you're finished. Thanks for your service and for using the artistic medium to express yourself and to plow through the emotional obstacles to achieve what you desire.
Im leaving a comment here in the hopes that you are doing what you love and will let us know
I wish you lots and lots of fun!
Your a true hero, thank you
It's really great that you want to leave behind something special. I think we should all do something like that. Good luck!

Anyone else too broke to buy a wacom tablet but still watches reviews about wacom tablet
TheAnime Midgit me
TheAnime Midgit i dont even draw
TheRealFritoPie that's actually funny
All I could make budget for is an intuos x(
lol, i''m too broke to buy any tablet with a monitor period. i literally watched almost every video review of a huion, xp pen, wacom, ugee and pablo tablet. And 90% of the reviews we given free review copies. here i am without any and these guys have at least 3. i'm having flash backs of my childhood when i couldnt buy a ps1 and i had to go to my friends house to play. one day i'll be able to buy one thats for sure.
Tablet reviews were how I found Jazza. Man, what a wild ride ever since! Sexy Benjamin approved.
PictureFit I did not expect to see you on this part of RUclips
Me too! Then RUclips began to recommend me a ton of his other videos, which led me to find how much of an exploitable source (for RUclips Poop) he is.
Me too..
PictureFit why are you here
HOW DARE YOU mention that sell out of a movie
Hey Jazza you never told me you were on TV. I was watching a kids channel with my little brother AND YOU POPPED UP OUT OF NOWHERE. I absolutely flipped my my shit. You were drawing a clumsy wizard. I repeat FLIPPED MY SHIT.
Zo Bakes what show was it?
Violet Rose It was one of those short pop-up shows on ABC3
Zo Bakes 'lets art it up' i believe its called hes mentioned it a few times before
Zo Bakes sorry i just looked it up its called cartoon it up
Gabby Wonka Oh ok thanks but that still doesn't change the fact that i completely flipped my shit at the time lol
When you realize that this tablet plays a game at a higher frame rate and resolution than your gaming computer.
Yash Thapliyal rekt 😢
Yash Thapliyal it hurts
+LMAO WYD
dont buy a drawing tablet expecting it to work like a computer, but anyways, you wont really find a tablet that runs as well as a computer, let alone as a gaming computer, uh.. anywhere. you should just get a touchscreen laptop if thats what you want. if you want to draw, AND have a touchscreen tablet that can play **some** games at good settings then yes you should get this, but its pretty expensive lmao (about $3,000)
LMAO WYD just get a surface book 2 15 inch it has a gtx 1060 stuffed into it
Hahhahaha and then you can rost chicken wings on it from the amount of heat. ...before sending in to repair on your own cost....
I have your book because I got it for my birthday yesterday and my smile was so big when I saw that I got it!!
Happy birthday ^-^
thanks: )
it was my birthday yesterday too!!! happy birthday
Happy Birthday to both of you Emma Wiley and Crippled Gaming !
Emma Wiley my birthday was 2 days ago! Happy birthday
I might wanna get one of these as an upgrade from my intous draw

I wish I had $3000 to drop on this thing. it's amazing! right now I'm stuck with a cheap $50 MonoPrice tablet. Though it still work phenomenally over 4 years later!
Ultra LOL
I have no money and I'm a kid so :(
Try a cheaper tablet first, like a UGEE HK1560
Just wanted to make something clear about the graphics cards in these devices:
The 13" Mobilestudio comes with Intel Iris 550 graphics, regardless of version.
The 16"Mobilestudio comes with a Nvidia Quandro GPU. The M600M Quandro in the i5 model and the M1000M in the i7 model.
So there is a big difference between the GPU power on these. So don't expect anywhere near the GPU power on the 13". Especially on the gaming end, since even the Nvidia GPUs in the 16" are not for gaming.
Also the i7 models on both the 13" and 16" are the only ones with the Intel RealSense 3D cameras.
Oh and the 13" comes with 6 buttons instead of 8.
Seeing as it acts both as drawing pad and computer is there any chance that you can download free art software on it? or possibly torrents? I don't think I could afford this and buy Adobe PS all over again. If not, maybe I am better in just getting the Cintiq

Thanks for the review! I've been thinking of getting an iPad Pro and pencil, but I keep gravitating back to Wacom. I'm really tired of my PC, heavy Cintiq 21UX and being so static in my workspace. I was like okay, I'll be good and get the 13" i5 but I just think it's probably far more worth the extra for the i7 version. What annoys me is that they're about £3000 in England, I should have got one in Japan where they were so much cheaper!
Thanks for the video!
@Audri Long
I only ever used clip studio on my 6th gen iPad and I REALLY want a mobile studio.
But I’m 13, and my birthday is in November.

"And now the the things that could be dealbreakers"
Me: the price
"There is no stand, no case, and different plugs"
Me: you’re... seriously not going to mention the price?
Maddie Eaton you get what you pay for, save up the money if you really want it
You are paying for a portable computer tablet
@@exiaax people are forgetting its literally a COMPUTER. and it runs skyrim, which my 1000 dollar desktop cant run. so...... its worth the money.
shartfest - how well can it run overwatch? And is the display like iPad 5 clear or iPad 1 clear?
Lily Shang did.... did you not watch the video? His video and many other reviews go over the display. I don’t have this tablet yet but i am buying it soon.
Was actually looking into the 13" for architecture, and the price tho...
The base price is $2,649.00 AUS with no additions!
*faints*
I'd buy a surface book or something
Maybe just buy a Cintiq and use with your existing computer?
Lya The Dork Sure but aLEX said he wanted it for architecture. Maybe he doesn’t need portable. Besides, now that you mention it, I could use my laptop with Cintiq portably if I really had to.
Oh god
Wacom needs some real competition then they wont be able to get away with Over charging so much.
I thought huion was wacoms competitor?
Lucy it is but don’t think that Huion is better than wacom because it isn’t.
Unfortunately huion is no match for them due to huion using classic graphic tablet technology. Its just a normal pen tablet with a screen. Emission reception.
While wacom use a patented magnetic technology. Hence its accuracy.
I have a gt156 and i love it but i consider it more like a soft brush than a solid reliable pencil when it comes to tracing.
It's patented. Theres nothing huion can do. Neither anyone else. We are fucked.
It's called the iPad pro. You can max out an iPad pro 12.9 for the LESS than a crappy 13 inch wacom.
Adrian Unfortunately the iPad is not a full computer and you are limited to using the programs from the App Store. I love my iPad Pro but it doesn’t really compare
I was definitely leaning towards getting the 16 inch mobile studio pro tablet but l was purposely waiting to see what your thoughts and views are on it. As usual, your reviews are always SUPER helpful and it is making me that more psyched to purchase it! This will be my first ever professional drawing tablet, thank you so much for your recommendations and reviews on this!
Hey Jazza,
You didn't mention the Overheating issues with mobile studio pro 16. mine is getting overheated quite easily especially when it deals with 3D, and few times it has shut down it self cause of the overheating. and with a quick search online i saw many people had encountered the same problem. did you had any problems like that?
That's a good question, but he doesn't do 3D work so I don't think he'd know about that.
I know the comment is old. But I've had my Mobile Studio Pro for about a week now. I keep it plugged in during work, or even when I'm laying in bed. I have not had any overheating issues. I do have a Cintiq Companion 2, and I would use it the same way, but during use, I would have to put down the Companion, because the machine ran way too hot. I could draw with it in portrait mode, without it getting too hot to rest on my chest. I couldn't hold it in landscape without it burning my hands. The Mobile Studio Pro is a great upgrade in terms of heat dispersion, and overall heating of the machine. I was able to run 3DS MAX for a couple hours, just to test it out, and it rand fine the entire time. Also, the fan is A LOT quieter than on the Companion. You barely notice it, after using the Companion for so long.
Hello! I do have the same problems with my MSP 16. It overheats quickly. And it also shuts itself down if it gets too hot.
@@davbhard I think the problem is ppl do this
"I'm laying in the bed with it(...)"
Ppl have no idea just how much dirt and fybers get sucked in to your portable devices when you do that. And over time it clogs the damm thing and they start to overheat. Srsly, just because your device is portable doesnt mean you can work with it anywhere, be careful to avoid dusty and furry surfaces. Please treat your portable devices better...
PS: But yeah I'm aware that its a thin device and the fans don't do their job properly. Plus overtime the thermal past in the CPU will dry up and probably will need to be replaced too. THe the biggest problem here is definitely the fact its a thin device with poor ventilation.
Man I want one of those to animate
Am I the only one who smiles almost constantly throughout his videos?
but does it run minecraft?
PopcornMadness but can it run crysis?
AL s
PopcornMadness if your iPhone can run minecraft, this can run minecraft
if it can run league of legends then it truly is a must have
SkattBoops als???
Another option for the stand is to wait to buy the tablet until Wacom releases their stand. I personally like the second stand you recommended. The different options you get for viewing angles are a big plus. Great review, Jazza!

I actually did get the Mobile Studio Pro 16" (Intel i5). I was a bit nervous when I clicked on the video, thinking that with your longer experience, there would be a glaring issue that you would of found out that would of made me experience buyer's remorse. I'm pleased to say that this has been more than informative and more reassuring than anything about getting the Mobile Studio.
My demands are no where near as high as yours as I'm merely an animator by trade where I'm basically a cog in the work flow in a local studio (which I don't mind! It's fun pointing to the screen saying 'there's my scene!') and so I bought the Mobile Studio mainly for home and travel use on my own accord with drawings and paintings. The cons are the same as yours, a lack of stand (which thank you for the recommendations) and a lack of a carrier case, which I'm glad I had the foresight to get the sleeve cause lord knows I want to keep this investment for a long time.
I do wish that you showed examples of when you actually used the Mobile Studio Pro with the switch, which is the part that basically turns the tablet into a second monitor for a local desktop. It would of been fun to see that in action and your preferences about it, but hey, the tablet itself is more than capable of handling itself.
I'm more than happy about my purchase now, a much welcome upgrade from my simple Intous 4. Happy drawing Jazza, and here's to many years with our Wacoms!
Don't be stupid, be a smarty. Come and join the Arty party
This was an absolutely WONDERFUL review. Thank you so much, lord you have sold me on that 16. I was sitting here wondering about gaming capabilities and as soon as you brought that up I was content. This was super informational and helped me make up my mind for my next big purchase!
I'm watching this on my Mobile Studio Pro :D
Btw I'm 15 and I'm serious about drawing.
I managed to buy It, but now I'm broke.
I began to watch your videos not long ago. But in this short period of time i watched all of them. I really love your videos and in my opinion you're a amazing artist and person. I started drawing because of you. Thank you for inspiring me.
Hey Jazza, three years on, how does this 16inch product perform? Are you still using it as a pivotal business device, or have you moved on to better products/recommendations?
This isn't really related to this video, and you will probably never even see this Jazza, but I just wanted to say that you inspired me to start drawing, and today, I finished my first piece that I am REALLY proud of. So thanks for all your inspiration and tutorials Jazza!
when you just want to watch jazza video but are never going to buy one.
I was actually waiting for this video. Thanks for the upload!
BTW, the hole used for the pen stand is actually a Kensington security lock hole. Could be handy for those who need it.
Addition: supposedly MSP uses USB PD Profile 5. That means virtually all USB C power packs won't work with MSP 16, and you will have a hard time finding a compatible charger as well.
@Draw with Jazza what was that carry case called and where did you get it? I can't find one for my Huion Giano :(

I just purchased myself a MobileStudio Pro 16 just a few days ago and waiting for it to be delivered. I had purchased a Wacom Cintiq Companion 1st edition over 7 years ago and figured it was time to upgrade to the new model. It still works great and it amazing, it just lost it's touch functionality. I love these devices and expect to get a lot more work done.

I can't believe I'm a year late to this amazing review, because at this time I'm looking to upgrade to cintiqs, and a lot of Amazon and quora reviews kept leading me to different Wacom models ^^. I also enjoy drawing on mobile devices, so this tablet is definitely on my wishlist. Thank you so much Jazza!!!!
I love your videos jazza!

Thank you Jazza, I know now what Wacom Devices I must perches! I love your fun personality and your knowledge packed channel!
I have a cheap Wacom tablet 😜
Love it tho!
i still use my huion gt 220. love the thing
I got a D10 stand for my MSP13 and never looked back. Infinite angle adjustments, it's wide and stable, and fits the Wacom like a glove. It's also small and light. However, it can block the vent ports on the MSP so I stuck a little foam at the bottom lip of the stand so it doesn't sit down in it quite as far and no heat issues now.
desktop or wacom studio pro 16???😢
that was an amazing review. I have the Cintiq pro 16 coming tomorrow but I might switch out now to the mobile studio pro 16 instead. I appreciate it.
hello Jazza
I really enjoy these videos. I've been trying to save money for either a Mobile Studio Pro or a Cintiq, but I'm nowhere close to being able to get either. Hearing your opinions on these are really helpful for me to pick one that will best suite me. I also really like your work. Have a lovely day!
Q: when you buy a wacom tablet does it come with software to draw or do you need to purchase it separately
the tablets come only with drivers, no actual programs. at least my didnt. and i cant imagine any of them do, because the usual drawing software (like ps, sai and so on) are not from wacom. also, big companies are way too greedy to just...GIVE you that usually very expensive software.
The intuos can come bundled with some programs.
Wacom used to give Photoshop Elements 9 and Art Rage with the Bamboo Fun Small tablets (They're not sold anymore. At least not new). I believe they stopped doing that though. It's not mentioned anymore on the store pages, while it used to be advertised there with the Bamboo tablets
Well they are free if you get the tablet
If you don't have any programs just download Gimp or Krita, those 2 are very good and completely free.
He really called me out “ If you’re a 13 year old watching this and saying I want that”. Luckily I am 14 lol. But I am just watching these so that I can see which one might be helpful for me when I’m in the future. Also Can u do a review of cheap drawing tablets for beginners?

I had the luck of testing both mobile studio at the Sydney retailer. No lag, very nice resolution. It is perhaps the best display tablet I've ever used. (That is, compared to Surface book, Microsoft studio and Apple's pencil. )
I'm an intuos user since 2014 and uses it for fanart and animation from time to time. I might get one of them since I could need one for my 3D animation diploma

are the 8000+ of sensitivity really necessary? if I paint a brush stroke with black ink in Photoshop it can go from 0 value to 255 for fully saturated, why do I need more than 256 levels? If someone can tell me please comment.
The sensitivity levels are actually quite important, as more levels help you get a more precise brush stroke
It is necessary

Just as an FYI, the older USB items you have are actually USB A. 2 and 3 refers to the updated standards within that given form factor that enabled higher data rates and other new goodies. For instance, most USB C items are actually also USB 3, while some are 3.1, but the alpha code is what we use to refer to the shape. (Insert a TheMoreYouKnow.gif here ) :) Love the content and keep it up

Hey Everyone, is this a worthwhile investment for someone starting digital art? I have the opportunity to buy a piece of hardware and I'm torn between this and the Surface Pro 2017
David B Get an Ipad Pro and Apple pencil.
scpart I thought about that but I'm not an apple fan and I was looking to work either in Sketchbook Pro or Manga Studio
David B Mate I hear you ,but after my issues with Wacom and testing out my GF Surface Pro Apple Ipad Pro is cheaper and better for Artists.I have never owned a Apple I have Wondows and Android, but I have ordered a Ipad Pro.
scpart hmm, that's food for thought, thanks!
David B your welcome I use Clip Studio Paint sometimes Sketchbook Pro which is also on IPad Pro and Procreate ,Infinte Painter ,Paint Storm Studio Also look up Mike Henry on youtube heaps high quality Artists using Ipad Pro .Wacom devices are not portable, but Surface Pro would be your next best option.
it's so great to see another Australian artist on youtube :)

People don't understand that even getting an 4k i7 machine is already too expensive, plus adding a digitizer display on top, in THAT form factor. It's totally reasonable for it to cost $3k! That was an awesome review Jazza!

Great review Jazza. I've used a few different tablets over the years, but nothing compares to my Cintiq...and although it's old, it's still more comfortable to use then my iPad Pro (which I use when I'm out or watching tv).
