Musicians gather to honour ‘Big Sugar’ bassist Garry Lowe

Legendary ‘Big Sugar’ bassist Garry Lowe passed away this summer. Lindsay Dunn with how over 40 musicians, including members of Sloan and the Barenaked Ladies, have gathered in Toronto to honour him on what would have been his 65th birthday.

I used to see him at Harvey’s when I was in high school, I was kinda nervous to say anything but I was like that guy is a musician and is one cool muthaf$&ker!
