Any thoughts in releasing this as an audio/video download? The whole thing was brilliant. Was really fun to see myself and everyone else singing along. Very well done...but then again...I wouldn't expect anything less.
I'm embarrassed to say that I only just now found this! Have been a Big sugar fan since the beginning.. and was terribly disappointed that I was unable to attend a concert in Halifax Nova Scotia with both"big sugar and Wide Mouth Mason" on the bill. The tongue-in-cheek jester in me, cannot help but ask the question,... " will the sugar get Re-heated"? (rimshot)😉
So happy to have found this!! Thanks Gordie, you da man!! Don't think I have heard Colin James sound that good? Seen Big Sugar and Grady many times in Ontario, best live music EVER!!!!!
Not only a Big Sugar Re-Vision, but also a "Hookah Brown" and "Don't Talk, Dance" reunion, too! We're lucky to have you in our lives, Shugs! Much love to all of Big Sugar and their crew/friends. Great video!
Oh, and try to make it to Peach Festival in Scranton, PA in 2021, if you can.. I'll be there if you're there lol. Warren Haynes can tell you how much fun that festival is!
thanks BIG SUGAR! loved the show and special guests...about as good as it gets these days for live music. glad Mr. Chill cameod in the finale! THANKS FOR THE JAM
I remember you at the Dinwoodie lounge in early days ohh so long ago. So loud and such amazing tone and goddamn still so good. Love watching you abuse the Bigsby👍👍👍
This was great , love how we can see Gord up close , see all the notes he’s playing and those cool finger picks. Gotta get me some of those. Thanks fellas, you should do more of these.
Thank you Gordie J and friends. So good, so fine and so mine. If you are ever in Vegreville Alberta you're welcome to come over. Bring your slide and we can learn a thing or six. Peace and much love. Sean
Gordie, re watching the concert. You playing Tired All the Time reminded me of your acoustic tour you did in the late 90s (saw it in Hamilton and London). I remember you playing this song
I seen Big Suger in Halifax Nova Scotia back in 98 ish. I met him years later 2008 at the East Coast Music Awards hotel party type thing I was half or whole drunk and playing guitar making shit up and someone got on the drums so i played a little more turned around the guy on the drums with a black cowboy hat on looks up and holy shit its Gordie Johnson. I was drunk and shell shocked out of tune and singing way to high good memories ha ha Love your channel cheers
That transition to Nashville Grass, and back again to Joe, is that just for this? I'm trying to remember if you've ever done that in any of the live shows I've seen you in, and I honestly can't remember (but I don't think so, as Nashville Grass is my favourite Big Sugar song) but I've got to admit that usually by the time you're halfway through your show I might not be in a state conducive to remembering everything. Don't judge me!
I hope people go back and rewatch If I Had My Way. It’s a much better edit. Hopefully not too many people disappointed by not seeing themselves initially.
HEMI-@#$%&-VISION!!! One of the very best albums in music history. Not one weak track. Completely underrated. Right up there with Destroyer and Highway To Hell. Went to order the Deluxe CD + shirt combo, and you're charging $50 for shipping within Canada? $100 total.

That was epic! Hemi Revision is the best thing that I've watched in a long time! I've been chilling out with Big Sugar since the early days of the 90's! Many concerts later, this video brings back so many memories! Thank you all of them and the great music that goes with them!
All instruments (except guest artists) are played by Gordie. He recorded bedtracks and then played guitar and sang live. And yes, he's even got a few keyboard parts on there. (There's nothing he can't do!)
BigSugarBand that’s awesome, good for him. RIP Gary , I use to go down to AJ’s in Kingston and watch them every time and Gary was the best ! Thanks for the response.
...Jesus ...What was that you said on Insta? ...Up almost 40hrs? ...Thanks for going all out to include more fans!
Always a gentleman and a true person who loves the people.
So glad got to See Stoon Show pre New year 🎉dec.28th 2022😎🇺🇦🥰💕
Gordie is the only one that knows how to handle music during the pandemic. Take notes peeps. This is mega cool.
Tommy Johnson is a song that reminds me of the feeling I get at the beginning of a 2 hour drive and I need to be there in a 1/2 hour..
Our family LOVED this show. My little guy now has a BS t shirt and poster on his Christmas list.
My 2 year old cut up the rug to this performance. Nice to know he's got great taste!

It's the wrong year but I was really hoping to see the green sharkskin suit again.
