12 31 2018 New Years Eve Red Road Powwow Grand Entry 1

This is the Red Road Powwow grand entry held every year on the 31st of December and the 1st of January. Only during the COVID-19 pandemic we refrained from gathering. We lost many good friends to the pandemic. But we returned to gather with our people to celebrate another year of sobriety as well as to give thanks to our Creator for all the things he provides. We pray for strength, health, wisdom, heeling and to light the path of goodness for the coming year. The drums bring together old friends and new ones while dancing in the sacred circle. Many tribes attend the Red Road Powwow here in Fresno California and we welcome tribal people from all states and countries. Our gathering's are all about celebration of family and friends as well as sobriety. There is no smoking, no drinking of alcohol nor using of drugs during the event. So if you are in town on the day of the event stop by and join us on New Year's Eve. The event starts at 11 am till midnight on the 31st and from 11 am to 6 pm on the 1st of January.
