Thanks for this clip. I would probably start watching Mika because I somehow relate to her. When she said that she was poor and she had only her roommate's stuff to use to cook, I am almost the same. There was a point in my life that we don't have a stove to cook so we used rice cooker to cook dishes. I even cooked spaghetti in a rice cooker once from top to bottom, from frying the meat to boiling the noodles. So I kind of relate.
I don't want to be a bummer but she said she lost her parents at a very young age and basically raised her brother alone, who was then taken to another relative's home so he can have a better life. She didn't have anyone to teach her, and at 18 she probably had to look for cheap places to live with a roomate (mysta on the hard hand, that boy aint right)

@@cacacat4170 I don't remember, it was one of the soft talking streams when chat told her how she had a very sister/mother like soft voice and way of thinking. We went on a deep talk and all this topics from her past were brought up by her to explain a little of her personality.

@@Wargulf2838 tbf no one taught Mysta how to cook. From what he's told us about his home life, he grew up poor, never really had access to decent perishables, & no one really taught him how to cook. He's improving so I think he'll get better with time & I think he'll get even better with people like Vox & Nina teaching him

To be fair you can do that it’s just your supposed to remove from original packaging and potentially dangerous plastic and make it in a packet of aluminum foil.

As someone who makes thise kind of candy, it's not toxic cuz the sachet is mostly made of aluminum foil. And the reason why we need tissue cuz it's protecting the outer layer of sachet (which is plastic) so it dont get burn

My family did something similar to Mika with our grilled cheese sandwiches when we did not have a toaster oven. We wrapped our cheese sandwiches in foil, set them on an ironing board, and ironed them for a few minutes. Always turned out great and no risk of eating tiny toxic metal pieces!
My mom used to do that, the sandwiches were actually good and I'm still alive so...

In all honesty, the egg looks so spongey and so lifeless and sad that it is very comparable to a dirty, worn out, and overused dish washing sponge that's been chewed on by a dog. Ironically they advertise those kind of sandwich makers as being used to make small omelets and waffles and pretty much anything you can make with heat that will pour or fit into it. The only mistake she made is not oiling the machine properly so the eggs wouldn't stick.
I miss her. Streams like this is why I worry about her by herself 😅

I used to make it ALLL the time with my friends for midnight snack because it's like the cheapest snack that we can buy. There plenty choices but Milo 3 in 1 pack is my favourite haha. What we'll do after is that we put blanket(we usually use 'kain batik' because more easy to shape it? haha) on top of the packet and heat it with iron.
And then, we eat it. Ahh, such nostalgic.
