And if you don't manage to burn to death it takes really fucking long for your skin to heal so you're gonna live in this pain for a long-ass time. - Electrocution isn't what kills you. What kills you is that your body is a resistor, and thus it gets hot when current flows through it, and you end up burning to death. So, not a viable alternative. - I don't know enough about freezing to death to form an opinion about that. - Dying from lack of oxygen is the most peaceful way because you pass out before you die so you're not even awake to notice the part where you're desperately grasping for air. (And the most peaceful way to achieve that is carbon monoxide poisoning, because you don't even notice a lack of air. You just get tired and fall asleep.)
I think freezing would be bad but you dont really feel the pain of your body shutting down, just the numbness of your limbs from fingers and toes to your chest, but sudden electrocution would kill you instantly

Burning though. Its the same deal but your lung are burning and all over your body is pure agony. there is no such thing as burning at the stake and not saying a word. You are going to scream in agony. Its drowning but everything across the surface of your body is in agony and as well as your insides.
You can find videos of monks committing self-immolation and not even uttering a sound or flinching. The amount of self-control and mental discipline needed for that is almost as terrifying as the act of setting yourself on fire.
On the flip side, drowning actually takes about 6 minutes for an untrained person assuming water does not enter the lungs (which it often does not in anyone even remotely water-educated), only the last half of which is actually spent unconscious. There's also the terminal gasp, which causes you to wake up, frantically try to take a last breath, and then spend the last 10 seconds of your life with water filling your lungs, awareness slowly fading and completely aware of what is happening to you. Burning to death is quicker, but more painful and ultimately less frantic, as motor control leaves pretty quickly afaik.
