Nathan Brady span jerky is very good. My family has made much hamburger jerky for decades. But use the leanest meat as you spend much time soaking all the fat off of it every few hours while drying.

Gordon Ramsay is going to steal this idea. The reason the re-hydration didn't work is because you used sweet pickles instead of Dill, and the wrong bun for a Chicago dog.

Seriously, there are so many fecking rules: - Chicago dogs MUST be all beef, preferably by the Vienna Beef company. - Tomatoes MUST be cut into wedges. - Relish MUST be weird iridescent mutant green sweet relish. - Peppers MUST be "sport peppers." Using pepperoncini is subject to fine. - Bun MUST have poppy seeds. - Whole thing MUST be topped in celery salt. - Uncooked white onions MUST be finely chopped. - Pickles MUST be quartered dill spears. - (The yellow mustard is fine... but it MUST be yellow mustard!) - Hot dog MUST be assembled in the proper order. Once in a snack box thing I got dryed crunchy prawns they were covered in hot pepper powder it was fire and so good

rehydrating the hotdog bun would be simple with a 20 second blast with a microwave at high heat as it would 'refresh' the bread
