Alexi has 200+ IQ for that camera placement on the side exit exhaust. Absolutely insane noises and footage. Also I was thinking to myself that this didn't sound like a 1JZ, and according to a speedhunters article from a while ago on this it had a 1.5JZ.. so that explains it!
@ur mama farting incorrect i have a 1.5jz 2jz head on 1jz block ? Why wpuld anyone get a 2jz block and put a 1jz head on it ? Doesnt make sense as the 1jz block is stronger but the 2jz head is better hence why we combine them and get the lovechild 1.5jzz

I can't stand eccentric steering wheels either haha, here in Australia it's illegal to remove a steering wheel that has an airbag, and my drift car of choice has an oval, and eccentric steering wheel factory... Ugh lol Think I'll get dark tint and change it for a Nardi anyway it's very frustrating lol

His tire is not actually popping in and out. When the suspension flexes, the tire will have a natural tendency to camber in at the top or go up and into the fender at an angle, which is normal for most cars with independent suspension.
+ebisu To cool down, if you look the 2 middle gauges on passengers side, these are the pyros. Measuring the exhaust gas and manifold temps. They got pretty high.
Perhaps, a steering wheel that is slightly off-centred with regards to its 'grasping ring', can give finger/palm feel for what angle it is at & going towards, than a pure concentric design usually used in racing/rally cars, which would also have standard or less than normal max steering lock angles..
I assume he did that to help alexi sync all the gopro videos while editing. One of them will be recording the audio so they need to be perfectly synchronised otherwise it won't look right.
Perhaps they change the compound of the hand brake shoes? There used to be a guy nearby who would reline handbrake shoes with the material used for elevator emergency brakes, apparently guaranteed to lock every time.
