What my teacher couldn't explain in months, you explained in merely half an hour. I just luv your vids! So helpful and informative!! Tysm!😄😄
Vector Questions in my opinion just require you to use common sense and logic to find routes to different points on the shape. Brilliant explanations once again. I wish you were my maths teacher...
Aaryan Ramani Absolutely! It’s great that you have that perception of the topic it shows a deeper understanding 👌🏼 thank you for the kind words 😁🙏🏼
What a legend. Thank you so much. I learn't nearly everything on my maths GCSE from you.
Thank you!! So glad to hear that my channel has helped you along the way! 😁🙏🏼

tgmt has actually saved my maths, im currently getting grade 7s in maths and i am planning on taking a level maths, my maths teacher wasnt very good and this person saved my grade
Thank you so much!! i really grasp the concepts in all your Gcse maths videos as you are so clear in your explanations
this guy should have at least 2 million subscribers, Best maths tutor in the world
Thank you so much 🥰. It was so helpful for my GCSE.
Keeping things as fractions, then multiplying the fractions takes it back to basic maths and makes life a WHOLE LOT EASIER. Many Thanks. I specialize in getting pupils up to grade 4 and 5s So my higher maths gets highly compromised. So the person who commented that teachers should watch this I agree with 💯 %
thank you so so SOOO much for this video since i was honestly struggling so much with this topic in school so now that i understand it i'll definitely be checking out your other videos 😀
Your Math videos are honestly superb! Helped me loads! Thank you so much for the detailed and clear explanation :)

Thank you so muchh ive been avoiding this topic thinking it's too hard but you just made me understand it so easily. Hopefully this will prepare me for paper 2 mock in a few days.
Thanks made everything super clear

you explain everything so well, it helps me understand things a lot eaiser. youre really helping me out here!
I was wondering if for your future videos you could put how many marks each question is. Amazing videos btw they've saved me
For the last question , for A>D ,could you put 1/8 on the outside of the bracket with 6a+12b inside?
W teacher! thanks so much!
Year love the video. The only thing I think which would make it slightly easier would be to consistently (where possible) re-writing Vectors to make the positive value come first
@The GCSE Maths Tutor at 28:30 for AD I got 1/4(10b+3a) would that be ok? because i did -3a+2b instead of what you did -2b+3a
saving my gcses bro tysm
i finally understood this!!!! thank you so much
So glad to hear that the channel is working for you! Keep up the great work and stay in touch 😁🙏🏼
i love gcse math tutor
Thanks so much for this
In order to get 3/4 (2b+a), how did you factorize the fraction in the last question?
Bro waffled so much on that first question lol
Thank you!!
Very good and well explained video!!
Thank you 😁🙏🏼
for the last question if you simplified -2/4 to a half, how would you factorise the rest
Thank you so much! You explain it so well! will be very helpful for tuesday :)
Amazing news!! So glad to hear it helped! 😁🙏🏼
@@TheGCSEMathsTutor hi, at 22:37, you do -3/2b plus 1/2a plus a, why is it not -3/2b plus a, because when u go from YZ, isnt AZ just a?
Sadly, You have to do this in A levels year 1 as well, I am here as a A level student 😂😂, didn’t learn any grade 9 topics in school as I just needed a 7, so now I have to come back to it and learn it. Thank you for the video, it was really helpful. Keep up the good work.😊😊
What writing tablet do you use with your laptop?
thank you this was very easy to understand
Glad to hear it 😁🙏🏼
Thank you, this is so helpful! Are you allowed to put the vector in the brackets as (a-b) instead of as (-b+a) when you factorise???
So glad to hear it! Yes absolutely you can 😁🙏🏼
For the question on 21:00, I found out the YZ instead of XY and i didnt get the same vector as XZ, I dont understand why?
Hi I have a question, at 20:23 why can’t the vector for B to Y (BY) simply be a half?
Hope your exam goes well and i hope you get everything you want for christmas
This video makes me feel like the world isn't going to end and I am very grateful to you for that
I'm so glad to hear that! Best of luck in your exam tomorrow! I'm so glad to hear the channel has helped you, please do let me know how you get on! 🙏🙏
Thank you I finally understand vectors
So glad to hear that! Keep it up!
Sir on your " hardest vector questions " that was grade 9 as well i am a little confused as i can do these sorts of questions very confidently but i cannot do the questions on the other video reliably.
very helpful💯💯💯
Thank you 😊
your the best
Thank youu. I'm from Maldives, this helped me a lot for our upcoming unit test. 💛
Reverse Flash Amazing news! Glad to hear it’s helping 😁🙏🏼
I watched the corbettmaths video before watching this one and he used a slightly different method for example for the last one he finds vector AD then DE then compares. I did the same and got for AD
3/4(a+2) and DE 9/4(a+2) different answers from you each time but still common vector multiple would I still get the marks if i do it this way and write the statement? please reply
AMAZING VIDEOS THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :)
Great to hear! No problem at all 😁🙏🏼
Do you have any videos with unknown values of x and y. When you know the distance between two points of the third unknown value (x,y)?
Hi Sir video on vectors is excellent . Just need something clarify on question 1on vectors what would be the answer if you went via vector b to find op?
hack for 28:29 :
1) label BD 3 & DC 1
2) cross multiply
3a x 1 + 2b x 3 = 3a + 6b
3) divide by the total given ratio (3+1)
4) (3a + 6b) / 4
5) AD = 3/4a + 6/4b !!!!
*this works when the triangle forms a fork shape only
at 16:45 if you prove NM and MC are on a straight line, do you need to find the vector for NC and factorise that too or is NM and MC enough?
@volodiable thank you!
sir i have got a quesion you know for the last question instead of inside the brackets being the same i had 3 on the outside of the brackets and different woking but is that still right??😅😂
Quick question how do you understand if the line is going downwards or upwards in that diagram??
It’s just how you look at it, when I say “going up” I’m just looking at it as if I’m going up the line or down the line, you could look at it differently to me in that sense! Hope that’s helped it’s an odd concept to try and describe 😁🙏🏼
thank u sm
I got a grade 7 in my year 10 mocks, aiming for an 8 in these mocks. Paper 4 was very good and I’ve got paper 5 tomorrow. These videos have really helped.
Edit: got an 8 in all 3 papers 👍😁
paper 4 and 5 don't exist
@@user-qm5cr9yh5f Yeah they do mate. Paper 1, 2 and 3 are foundation. 4, 5 and 6 are Higher. 😂😂😂
they are all 1,2,3 i know what u mean tho@@georgedz_
higher and foundation are different exams
@@georgedz_
@@georgedz_ you arent supposed to do 6 maths papers, you either do all foundation or all higher
@The GCSE Maths Tutor For the first question you did. I did it from B to A instead of A to B. The final answer I got was 1/4 a - 3/4 b. It is similar to your answer but the sign is different. Is this still correct?
Thank you sir
thank you
For the last question, can work out from B->C instead of C->B?because I did it and I got the same answer but different working out?
Great .cheers bud.got first one wrong but managed to get next ones correct.awesome teaching as always.this possibly makes you,Mr called and freesciencelessons the best in RUclips education.nice 1 sir

In 19:11 ,I had a question here, if AY is 1/2 and BY is 1/2 as y is the midpoint of AB, why isn’t 0A also 1/2 a even tho A is the midpoint of OZ? Why is it just considered a?
You make it so easy!!!!!!
