    Hi! Just thought id let you know how much of a game changer your videos have been, youve made me enjoy maths alot more and i feel alot more confident in what i can do! Since watching your videos, my grades have jumped from a 5- to a 7+, and i am really thankful for you and your videos!     can anyone xplain why he did 2/6 instead of 6/2 my brain cant comprehend the reason for it fully

      because we are going from the big shape to the small one, 6 multipled by 1/3 would be 2 which means 1/3 is the scale factor, which is figured out by doing 2/6. hope that makes sense😭

      Because we go from the big shape to small shape(make sure to read the question properly), and if we did 6/2 it would give us 3, but the shape is getting smaller. Therefore we do 2/6 because we get the scale factor as a fraction ( meaning it gets smaller) which is what we want :)
