    I’ve been running P-01 and P-07 for years and they are some of my highest round count pistols; all have optics cuts and CGW or CZ Custom gunsmithing. I’ve never really warmed up to P-10 even though I own them for magazine compatibility with P07/P09. When it comes to scoring at a match, P01 has way better speed and accuracy results than P10.

      Appreciate the awesome feedback! All 3 guns are beast in their own way for sure. Wild enough I can actually be faster with my P10C since the reset is shorter. Allows be to go that much quick plus the ergos feel the same in hand so they draw and point the same for me. The P01 just has a deeper trigger and reset which I feel when I’m really trying to go fast. The P01 steel frame with SAO trigger is really the goat lol thanks for watching!

    I put the CGW ultra-light kit and Dawson Fiber optic front sight in my P-01 today. The P-01 has a pride of ownership that comes along with it.

      P-01 or PCR all the way. On my PCR I installed the full CGW defensive package, hammer, flat da/as trigger, sent slide to primary machine for rmr cut with buis plate and front sight, burnt bronze cerakote, custom grips from Vytal patina color case copper slim krakens, matching base plates, custom copper guide rod. My favorite pistol by far.

      Appreciate the feedback! You’re absolutely right. Putting hands on a P01 is something to experience. It’s just wild that even for the money it feels like a much more expensive gun. The fact that it can be tuned to race spec is wild too. The P10 just doesn’t lack in those areas as well. If I did have the extra money the P01 is a sure fire. Thanks for watching!

    I've got a P-07 and a P-10c and am really happy with both. I've gotten back to the DA/SA triggers and find that I'm preferring them, at least for now. You've got to practice more with them to make the transitions smooth and that first shot accurate, but for my purposes they work better. Won't be giving up my P-10c any time soon, though. Great gun.

    • @speccivilian
      @speccivilian  7 месяцев назад

      Appreciate the feedback! Both guns are definitely solid polymer options that shoot very nice even stock. True that DA/SA takes some getting used to but if you master that them striker fired trigger are so much easier as it is. I find that the SA is just so crispy for the SA but the striker fired reset is just shooter which allows me to just be a bit faster. Thanks for watching!

      Appreciate the feedback! I’ve been considering an optic on my P-01 just to see how fun it can be so it might have to happen. I’ve made the trigger as sweet as possible for a DA/SA with a mixture of parts. Just sucks that mill work takes forever with most places. Thanks for watching!

    Nice coverage. I still MUCH prefer the hammer fired w/ decocker (P-01) over a Glock-like striker w/ safety (P-10). Still, if I DID want Glock I'd prefer the CZ P-10 version.

      @speccivilian  6 месяцев назад +2

      Great question! Both guns are hella solid. If you’re a fan of polymer guns the. The P-07 could be a hit for you but if you want a gun that feels thru n thru like a real gun I’d go with the P-01. That aluminum frame is on point. The P-07 will be easier to maintain as the P-01 has much more meticulous internals. That’s if you need to take care of something yourself. If that’s not a factor then honestly either way you can’t lose. The P-07 points more like a 1911/Glock and the P-01 feels more like an P-99/HK sight acquisition if that helps any. Just so you know how it feels on draw. Definitely check out my P-01 vs. P-07 video. Plenty of info in there that may help as well. Thanks for watching!

      Appreciate the feedback! Out the box they have plenty of differences but what I’m highlighting is beyond the basics. What makes them comparable is the generation of ergos. One catered to the 70s-80s and the other to the 90s-2000s. Yet they’re still so similar. Yeah the P01 is not optic ready but you can get an optic milled. Yeah the P10C is not aluminum but you can have aluminum or brass backstraps. Both supplements for the same means. Thus comparable. P-01 trigger is honestly not that bad but people only send them off because they want to get as close to a competition or shadow 2 trigger as possible when the gun was made for defense. Not really racing, more so target/accuracy. Both are compact guns meant to match the market of the time as well. Pretty comparable beyond your base expectations. Thanks for watching!
