No one;
joel; "...this (☝🏻😀) 's' word..."
This is the one thing I look forward to everyday after my school work and all that stress this is just the best thing ever!
Thx Joel
I wasn’t first
I wasn’t last
But most importantly
Nobody asked
I agree
Q: Why do birds fly to warmer climates in the winter?
A: It’s much easier than walking!
Yet we get the answer
0:44 -: *old town road* ( Lil NasX)
4:33 -: *Paper plane* ( M.I.A. )
6:44 -: *Roses* IMANBEK remix ( Saint JHN)
10:02 -: *Star wars theme* (MECO)
12:28 -: *This is America* ( Childish Gambino)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Actually the original “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X is actually a Nine Inch Nails instrumental song.
Roomie: Moscow, out of all places
Editor: *shows Norway's flag*
So what Roomie is saying is Paper Planes is a little bit pitchy, but in a good way
That mix of lil nas you did i would 100% listen to and add to my Spotify
Day 14 of reminding Joel to do the singing without autotune reveal cuz he's probably forgotten about it. C'mon Joel!
*Paper Planes was used for the Pineapple Express trailer, which I did see in theaters lol, but it wasn't in the movie sadly* ♥️😭😭😭 I'm STILL mad about that! I bought her cd with that had it on there. Good album.
Holeees*it i tough i was the only one who knew THE FRAY i frickin love them soo much i almost memorized all of their songs!!! And my favorite one is actually “How to Save a Life” omg Joel you suprised me!! 😭❤️❤️❤️
RUclips be like : Joel how many copyright clams do you want
Joel :
2:05 debuted. Love the pronunciation :)
The title: "*Unlikely Hit Songs (Why did they blow up?)*"
Me: "I don't know why did they blow up?"
Antimeme (?)
@@Mr_Leo_DS (???)
@@slushyyyyyy1811 there is no joke here, that's just a failed try to make a meme
Childish Gambino stole his song but i guess that didn't come up in the google search. There is a smaller artist who has a song with same type of soundtrack and people were like "oh maybe it's a music industry coincidence" but they literally sing about the same topic. The original artist said he wasn't going to try to sue but that he's glad Donald Glover likes/was inspired by his song.
Edit: American Pharaoh by Jase Harley is the song.
Old town road bE like:
i aM a HiT oN TiK tOk
Lol
omg I found an old record a few years ago with that disco starwars theme and loved it!
Old Town Road being removed was actually a race thing. Most modern country music is heavily influenced by pop, rap, and even hip hop. They just didn't want a black artist charting for country.
ok but how can you prove it
I love how the roomie plushy is still in the guitars in the background from the last vid!😂😂😂
I didn't understand the hype of "This Is America". I still don't.
3:30 who said you can't combine country with other genres? Just look at 10000 hours or Meant to Be
I love how Billy Ray got involved and collabbed to include the specific elements that Bilboard stated as the reasons why it wasn't "country" and then they still refused to include it, can't tell me it wasn't because he was black if you're gonna pull BS like this.
Paper Planes was in Slumdog Millionaire as far as I remember. That was a great soundtrack.
Having old town road in a country playlist is like saying iron man 3 is a Christmas movie😂
The song which Lil Nas sang/rap is acctalually 'Heart on ice'(hella good song) by Rod Wave
Check him out, he's a great artist
I don't think people give enough credit to Imanbek for his remix. SaintJHN's song didn't blow up. Imanbek's remix did
Yeah, the original song just sux
JOEL!! I really think you should react to npr tiny desk RUclips videos! Their are sooo many good ones lots of old and new gems! I’m going to keep posting this on all of your videos until you do it lol
How could someone have lived through 2019 without hearing Old Town Road
My parents, apparently.
They've been living under a rock.
Just not hearing it? I never listened to it and I'm alive and not interested
Don't forget the entire hook of the guitar in the background of old town road was from a nine inch nails instrumental...so that song really crossed many genres.
roomie how much copyright claims do you want ;
roomie: yes
How many times I have to read this same thing?
Like stop 😒
2:19, you can't hide No Sleep by Martin Garrix from me, you absolute man of culture
"The more playlists you get in the more plays you get on your song"
- Captain Obvious Rami 2020
How to save a life in the scrubs was one of the few moments tv ever made me cry haha, cox's breakdown broke me lol. Love that song.
This will either be rap songs that nobody really even understands or random songs that tiktok decided to use.
This is the first video I've came across where Joel didn't talk about his Pitchy merch🤣🤣🤣
Well old town road won a "pop-song" Grammy... pop
