What draws me? Complete disconnection from my daily world.....into a world that is totally pure. Clean. No evil. No cruelty. My soul is calm and peaceful. My brain is TRANQUIL
What drives me to acrylic pouring is the beautiful designs that turn out from it and being creative to add to those designs.
I agree with you, there is beauty in the chaos!
My favorite part of this type of painting is looking for the hidden abstract images. Faces and butterflies and anything that pops out to me.
I feel the same way haha! I love seeing and hearing what you all see in the paintings!
I loved abstract art since I was a little girl. The painting is whatever the viewer sees. It’s never just one way to view it. I also love the pareidolia that comes with it. It’s relaxing, mysterious and so much fun.
I love this! My favorite parts are the giant cells with clusters of little cells within! This is truly beautiful! I have heard of bullseye cells and I have heard them called peacock cells! This is beautiful! I have a lot of physical pain and that is why I paint, because it helps me focus on something other than the pain. Have you thought about doing a premier or a live?
I have been thinking about doing some live streams in addition to my regular content. Trying to get my studio set up to live stream with multiple angles so it’s more interesting. Need to nail down a couple things and I will be ready to stream and would enjoy doing it! Thank you so much!
This type of acrylic painting has become my daily mental therapy. I absolutely love it!
I love acrylic pouring because you go in with expectations of what you will get and then you still get surprises that just make you want to try another! This is drop dead gorgeous!
The thing I love most about acrylic pouring is that you can select the perfect palette, choose from several different methods, pour and swipe exactly where you want to and still, in the end, you just have to let go and trust the process.
And I love that you said you'd have to show us Piper later and she just popped right in there like "Did someone call? HERE I AM!" ❤😂
There is beauty and fulfillment in allowing the chaos of the pour to take control. Piper has never done that before but it was really cute! Thank you for being you!
Wow!! That’s lovely artwork. And a lovely tortoise shell colored cat, too. Piper’s spots are reminiscent of color cells, perfect cat for you.
Aww thank you so much, Piper is such a good kiddo!
I love acrylic painting. For me, it's a getaway. With my job, and home life, it relaxes me. I love deciding what colors to mix up. And figuring out what style I'm going to do. Then to start pouring, and see what happens, it makes me happy.
Acrylic pouring is one of the ways I destress! But I have been making art since I was a child. I love watching but my greatest joy comes from painting or pouring. I get ideas from videos or looking at pictures. I love your work. You do make beautiful art!❤❤❤❤
I love the magic that happens every time, even when it’s totally different from my expectations!
This particular painting is gorgeous!
That is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of a chest full of precious stones and jewels. 🥰🥰
Wow! You have created an original and amazing abstraction!!!! Your paintings reflect the whole universe! I love your magical art work!
With a smile, Mr.Hi! :)
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words!! Have an amazing weekend my friend!
It calms my mind and then wonderment sets in because they turn out so beautifully
This painting was just what I needed right now. It was very theraputic. I went from complete stress to calm, so for that THANKYOU! ❤😊 I think it was the tone of your voice, the colour palette, the way you even poured the paint, instead of continuing the pouring you added a gentle spin, just the whole process. Absolutely by far and away in the top 3 of my favourite paintings you have ever done. Your furbaby is so precious ❤. How are you going J?
This is so therapeutic, fun seeing the various colours layering and cells, forming the pattern and it is so addictive. Every time I need to find creative way to paint and so curious to see what is the end result of my creation / experiment. Enjoy seeing your tutorial as it gave me new ideas and understand the acrylic pouring better, thank you.
One of my favourites. Loved seeing beautiful Piper cat
Thank you so much!! Piper is going to want her own channel now lol 😂
That's really interesting how the cells are rings of colors😯
I love your art ….You inspire me …..for me fluid art helps with Childhood PTSD , it keeps me sane !
The colors are so pretty and so is the painting
Thank you so much!!
I think it's a beautiful way to express your self, plus it's always a surprise! You can try but the painting will decide.
Always love your art and the colours you choose, also that you are an interesting person who is generous enough to share both your talent and YOURSELF, Thank you ❤!! Piper is a delight, the colours of tortoiseshell and Calico cats fascinates me, ginger cats too. They seem to have a little? Extra spice. Keep your art coming our way and please give Piper an extra scratch in her favourite spot for me ❤
To answer your question, I love this art form because every piece is different, surprising me every time, no rules, it's as if the paint takes on my mood and then just flows ❤
Its gorgeous! What I like most about pouring is the other colors that appear with the cell reaction.. 😊 Art for me is so therapeutic .. I need it in my life!
So pretty just gorgeous 🥰👍 all different techniques of painting is therapeutic for me🥰👍 oh l love your cat🥰
Thanks so much 😊
Stettin and vibrant! Love tecolor pallet and good time see Piper!
This type of painting is very relaxing because there are so many different techniques to play with
Thank you so much!! Glad you liked it!
I wish we could see more gold come out in it. That would be beautiful.😮
I love the colors in this. They are something else!
To me this has a paisley look. Gorgeous!
Thank you so much Judy!! Have a great weekend!
Piper is such a chatty girl. I love her!
For some reason, the cells in this one give me trypophobia vibes, maybe because the colors make it look kind of visceral.
Answer to your question:
I am a little over analytical, and find comfort in symatry and order.
Oddly, the almost gentle chaos of paints reacting chemically as well as to physics allows me to put the need for order in my own life aside.
I get to tap into a calmer version of myself. 😊
Cheers
Beautiful work ❤
Such a beautiful way to put this process into words. Thank you for that!! Have a great weekend!
Piper has the sweetest little meow 💗. I have a dog named Piper, & she is very sweet too. These colors compliment each other nicely. This caught my eye on RUclips, and I liked it, then began watching others. It's really cool to watch, and to see the different styles of artists. Have a great weekend
Thank you so much! Piper is a sweetheart. I hope your weekend goes amazing as well!
What a beautiful kaleidescope. I've always painted in detail. Then I discovered pour. Sometimes I combine the 2 methods and the creations are amazing. My second eldest daughter said go back to the realistic painting " anybody can pour".. So untrue. You are the king of camealion cells, Gilley, the Queen of balloon kisses, Olga Queen of Dutch pour and the list goes on LoL
What drew me to acrylic pouring was when I was going through my breast cancer journey I needed an outlet to focus on. I had always loved to paint with watercolors but acrylic paint pours looked a lot more fun! I'm now 4 yrs cancer free and I'm still doing paint pours as well as so much more! It was a new love I didn't know I was missing until I found it! ❤
I love this colour combination you used. I personally use deco art 24K gold as well as their other metallics. Amazing cells!
Thank you for sharing your story and triumphs with me. Acrylic pouring saved my life I am sure of that. I could type you a very long walk of text but I covered it in a video about 4 minutes. It depicts my beginning and my journey very well if you want to check it out - ruclips.net/video/yHxsaEuMHJI/видео.htmlsi=xpQH-SSbESC5xkBn. I am glad you found me on this channel!
@@JMoPainting Thank you for sharing your story and triumphs as well. There is something about creating things with our own hands that is so soothing for the mind, body and soul. Keep being you and I'm glad I found you on here too! I watched a video of Kanella Ciraco 5 yrs ago and I thought, hey I can do that! I've gone from acrylic pour paintings to coasters to now creating jewellery and magnets from my paint skins. It's a whole new world that has kept me positive and out of trouble. 😉 I have a FB page if you ever wanted to see what I've been up to. Take care!
Oh boy what a beauty at 10 min 37 sec was my favorite all those clusters at the edge it was gorgeous and the finished product just took my breath away so beautiful . I like acrylic pouring because like you said you can use the same colours and the same technique 10 times and it would never be the same 😊
Hi J I'm just learning and having so much fun doing this and just creating something,I could do this all day as well.😊
Heck yeah! There is so much freedom in the chaos of this expression!
I’m intrigued with the way it turns out. I like the way everyone is different. I like it better then regular painting.
I tried painting with a brush and I really enjoy the abstract chaos of fluid art. I can let go of control and go where the colors I choose take me! Have a great weekend!
I just think the pouring is more relaxing then the painting
So many cells! Amazing, love the colors
Wow, that's an insane amount of crazy cells. Love it! That's what pouring is all about as far as I'm concerned. Good kitty, too. Mine would have walked right through that painting, lol.
Thank you so much, yeah Piper is a good kitten for the most part unless she is zooming all over the house bouncing all over the walls. Yeah, that’s pretty much nightly with her lol
Acrylich pour painting is the release of control in my art work. I have done tattoos for like 23 years in which total control is imperative. Since relinquishing this control ny pencile game has improve in great strides.
Thanks for your videos.
I am glad that it gives you peace my friend! Thank you so much for being here!
Color and seeing the artist bring their creativity to life on the canvas.
Piper is adorable. Kit meowed back and Sam is looking for "the baby" 😊
Thank you Melinda, I completely agree! Aww that’s so cute that yours were talking to Piper!
Wow that's so Gorgeous and my Favorite color 💜💜💜💜💜
Another beauty Johnny! It’s good to know that Extreme Sheen works with this technique. Thank you so much for sharing these videos with us.
I 've been an artist from an early age, visual expression is part of my dna. However after my husband passed away in a traumatic way the paint brushes were put aside for awhile. Even though he was a Christian & I know where he is, mourning has been hard. I saw your videos a couple of months ago & I am creating again daily. I find it relaxing & healing on a deeper emotional level. Scripture says "A world fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver." That applies to visual communication as well. I like Piper as well. It's good you have a "cultured" can. I thought I owned Calico cats but turns out I have Vikings instead. Thank you for sharing your gifts.
Sorry for garbled words like "world" when it is "word" & "can" when it a
is definitely a "cat". A.I. hates me & I'm not so happy with it either. 😊
Love this painting!! The colors just really work well together. I love the fact that there us a variety of cell sizes and types. 15:57
Very beautifull painting lovely colors combination nice cells 👏👏👏
I love this colour combinations and the cells, pretty awesome ❤
❤ваш котик прекрасен!!! Обожаю и котов и собак😊Люблю ваш канал, постоянно на нём самообучаюсь. Спасибо🙏🙏🙏
Honestly I have done about every kind of craft. Mostly crochet and beading were the things I loved most but as I get older my Rheumatoid arthritis is attacking my hands so I pretty much had to quit doing those things.
I had watched people doing fluid art and found it mesmerizing! It looked relaxing and it looked like it wouldn’t hurt my hands! I have been watching your channel and many others to learn more about pouring.
It’s not as easy as people might think it is, but even when things don’t go as planned, it can still be beautiful!
So far I’m really enjoying the process.
I’m so happy that you found a way to express yourself creatively in a new way when you couldn’t do the other ones anymore. Pouring isn’t as easy as it looks but there are always happy little accidents to be found in each pour! Have a great weekend!
Very cool piece! Love the cells within cells. Always make me think of those old fashioned hard candies that appear around the holidays.
Piper is a Very pretty, sweet girl. Thanks for showing her. Not like you had a choice 😂
Love this so much. Love piper
Amazing work it's magical.....keep them coming
I'd love to see you do a single or split color base...and then do a traveling open cup...as opposed to just sitting the cup in the middle and letting it out a lil at a time.
For reference, Olga Soby does some STUNNING traveling open cups. I LOVE them on a split color base.
Might be something you'd like to try. 😉
At the beginning: I hope that Google doesn't make any weird translations 😅
I have had depression since 2014. In 2019 I was in rehab and that's where I found acrylic pouring for myself. It calms me down a lot and my circling thoughts finally come to rest. I love everything about pouring. preparing the colors, pouring it yourself and also tidying up and cleaning afterwards.
I saw a lot of videos that inspired me.
But I love your videos very much because you always radiate a wonderful calm and you can tell how much love you put into your pictures.
Your interaction with us is really nice and I think very personal for each of us. ❤
And today what you once said in one of your many videos happened: don't be too critical of a picture that doesn't seem really beautiful to you. someone else might love it.
I made a ring pour last week and suddenly there was yellow and purple at the end. There were some colors mixed together. I found the picture very cruel and wanted to pour it again today. and then my daughter's friend came and thought the picture was beautiful. I didn't understand that at all because I really don't think it's nice. and then I remembered you and your video and had to smile. Clearly you inspire me more than I thought. Thanks for that! 🥰
By the way, my dog Athos likes Piper! I watched this video yesterday and today and every time Piper meows, my dog tilts his head to the side like a puppy and is completely in love. 😅
piper is really great. Has she ever had paint on her tail? poured cat 😂
Greetings from germany, Bibi
I do love open cup pours
That's beautiful I love purple❤
Thank you so much!
I love this piece. So many cells.
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful! Love the colour combination. 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful pattern! I would love to have a scarf or blouse with this design ❤
Gorgeous painting and LOVE Piper!! Thanks for sharing!!!❤
Thank you so much! Piper is a cutie rescued her as a kitten alone trapped in a pipe and that’s where she got her name.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 🎉
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful colours in this pour Johnny!! 👌🏻
I’m reasonably new to acrylic pouring and just love how it calms my mind as well as provides elements of surprise with every pour! I’m addicted!! 😊
Thank you so much and welcome to this lovely colorful world of beautiful chaos! Have a great weekend!!
Just beautiful, love how you take your time, That's why I watche very relaxing and beautiful creations. Also thanks for the weather info, I track the temps /weather. Hot here in Arkansas too, under the ground mostly. Take care.
Love your work, always learning from you :) I Appreciate your question - I was drawn to acrylic pour because of the surprising similarities between the work I have been doing for over a decade now - abstract photography and digital painting. In 2011, while on a nature walk, I noticed the reflections on the surface of the water. I started to photograph these, and then in Adobe Photoshop I transform the photos into cubist, digital paintings. Essentially, I change the fluid color shapes of the reflections into cuboid shapes. The first time I saw an acrylic pour video I was amazed at the similarities between the surface of the water and the surface of the paint. My portfolio looks like fluid art but is actually photography and digital work. I've only ever made a few acrylic pours, but have been an avid watcher of your channel, and many others, for the past few years. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you for sharing your beginnings! It’s very interesting that you were essentially creating acrylic pours digitally! I am glad that you enjoy the videos my friend. Here is a video that describes how I got started and the unfortunate circumstances that led me to my journey - ruclips.net/video/yHxsaEuMHJI/видео.htmlsi=xpQH-SSbESC5xkBn. I hope you enjoy
AWESOMELY GORGEOUS LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!
Thank you so much!!
Gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much!
The cells within cells within cells...inception cells! LOL :D Also, Piper is adorable!
Sehr schöne Kreation mit den positiven Farben violette 👍👏👌🫶🙏❤️🙋🏼♀️🇨🇭
Awesome, wow. I’m new but loving your creativity.
Thank you so much!! Glad you liked it!
Oh, Piper is a total cutie!!!
She is a little ham today! She has never done that before, I guess she wanted to be on RUclips and say hello to all the other cats watching haha
Acrylic pouring, for me, is a stress releaser. I'm just pouring my stress out onto the canvas!
It really is therapeutic to pour and let go of control and be in the moment! I completely agree, have an amazing weekend!
@@JMoPainting thank you! You as well.
WOW !🧿🎯🧿 This is ~ IF GUSTAV KLIMT MADE A MILLEFIORI PATTERN !!!!! Enjoyed it, J_Mo. Cheers🎯🧿🎯
Beautiful
This one came out amazing. I don't know if it's the color combo or what but i really enjoyed it. Beautiful!
Thank you so much!!
❤😅❤❤Amazingggggg colours.
Bellissimo😊
Awesome very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.✌️👍💗💯🔥
Thank you! Cheers!
Metallics are fabulous cell makers! I don’t use silicone just some metallic paints and I get nice cells. Obviously the cells are different than silicone cells but I like how they look. Nice painting!!!
Thank you so much!! Metallics are like magic for cells for sure! Have an amazing weekend!
I love to create with color, especially purples, but I can't paint in the traditional sense. Pouring allows the joy of creating with the ease of an abstract medium.
Love the colors! Piper is so pretty!
I started with resin, but it's toxic, and I had no way to put it into a different room (studio apt). This got me looking into paint pouring. I was drawn in by how many different ways to do this craft.
Thank you so much! Yeah resin is hard on the lungs especially in a smaller space. I am glad that you found pouring as a creative outlet. Have a great weekend!
🔥🔥🔥 Beautiful Johnny!
Thank you so much!!
Wooooow sooo beautiful ❤ greetings from Germany 😊
The peacefulness ✌️
Thank you so much!!
OMG... WOW....!
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
It’s relaxing
Perfect
What draws me? It’s relatively fast to accomplish, so I have something complete and in my hands relatively quickly. In the past my work never gave me an end product. I also love the ability to play with color. And oddly, I love the enforced lack of control in what the piece ends up as. Every piece is a surprise. It also makes me feel close to my mother, also an artist (mosaics), who died when I was 6. I know her spirit is around me.
I'm a traditional fine art oil painter and the paint pouring is a different way to create with paints!
❤full support
You cat is adorable
Aww thank you!
My kitty looks just like Piper! How does she like the move? Looks like she’s settled right in.
She’s a happy little camper, she loves being in a new place with new toys
Thank for the tutorial. …escape from anxiety
I’m trying to do daily uploads right now so I will have a new escape each day until I run out of time to paint!!
C-PTSD to be more exact…many of us have our demons 😉
It’s very very pretty
Thank you so much!
@@JMoPainting, you’re very welcome.
It gives me a sense of purpose in life again 😢
I felt this comment. If you have a couple minutes I have a video of how this journey began for me - ruclips.net/video/yHxsaEuMHJI/видео.htmlsi=Brsu7aTon7S77Faa. I hope it helps you my friend you are never alone!
I am 80yrs young, been doing pouring for a short time, did only one blowout, it went somewhere..lol
I make up alot of colors, just to see what happens. I used Iridescent Poring Medium along with Metallic colors.
I am drawn to the cells
Wow
Thank you!
I why do you switch directions? What a beauty she is… love this palette too ❤
I switch directions because sometimes the act of spinning skewed the cells in the direction of the spin. Alternating sides helps balance out the roundness of the cells
@@JMoPaintingThank you! That does make sense
