Instead of the usual empty park. Lol. Well there’s your answer! Nobody shows up!!!
Average attendance from 2019-2021 when they had a competitive team was 24-27 k same thing from 2012-2014 . If you want fans to show up then you need to keep your good players and it them it’s very basic. You can’t gut the team MULTIPLE TIMES then expect fans to hang around. I feel bad for the fans but also why doesn’t the town step up and help get a new stadium
They offered 480 million towards a new stadium already
Oakland!
Brilliant mass protest. But if you want your team to stay, maybe go to a game every now and again?

STAY IN OAKLAND
This "passionate" fanbase has been in the bottom 10 percent of attendance for a decade, even when they went to the playoffs. I think it might be too late too act like they care now.
I wonder what's happened during that time? Sold every star player, multiple bad seasons because of it, nothing invested into the stadium, and prices raised at every opportunity. Tell me, would you go if you thought the team didn't care and their strategy was a facade, an excuse for not caring?
@@timothystamm3200 name the star players.
@babybison2881 Ever heard of Josh Donaldson? Just start there, and you'll see.
@@timothystamm3200 so one guy?
@babybison2881 you can look up their roster over the years and see for yourself. Johnny Damon is another. I'm not doing the work for you asshole.
Too late Fisher won
Why throw trash on the field?
What is wrong with John Fisher
Even the highlights are boring.
Ok but what from what i read the whole city of oakland is going under no ?
You're correct. The city is a dump and beyond repair.
@Kevin L Good reliable factual news don’t exist anymore.
Having a passionate fanbase means nothing if theres only a few thousand of them. The team needs to move.
Yup and tbh Oakland does not care. When this team was great in the 70's they did not even show up. Oakland has never shown up

Politicians have blame as well as well as the SF Giants. The Giants did not agree to share San Jose once again. The A's gave SF full control of that area when the Giants were going to move to Tampa. Jerry Brown was the first politician who killed a plan in the early 2000's when he was mayor @@mookiestewart3776

Is this supposed to be satire?
Reverse boycott? Hahaha!!! Show up and support your team regardless!!!

The reverse boycott doesn’t work. Your just giving the owner more money. Don’t go the games
This was for the fans more than anything. A last hurrah before they inevitably move. A chance to feel the collie packed and get that energy again for one night. Best game I've ever been to, truly unforgettable.
All the proceeds went to charity.
Stay in Oakland? This was a one night packed crowd…only one night. Maybe if the fans showed up every game like this night, then the team might stay or better yet, become season ticket holders so the owners can get their investment paid.

What an embarrassment for Oakland… a horrible city, with horrible people; terrible sports fans, terrible politicians. Now with every sports team gone… Thank God I never have to hear the name Oakland ever again, unless they are talking about a list of worst cities in America
What if they stay,A!
I lived in Oakland for over 30 years. I saw what the bay area was becoming. Got the hell out. Nothing but a s&it hole now. As most of California is.
I mean All you think about Oakland is drugs, prostitution, & gangs 😂
Oakland A's owner Bobby Fisher: How did ya like the reverse boycott complete with 28,000 A's fans?????
It’s John Fisher.
2D chess
I think he liked the next night 7000 fan. It proves his point. Go going fans.🤣🤣🤣😉😉
Nevada got done in less than a year what Oakland couldn't in 20+ years. Their still at square 1
Not even close. They were 90% of the way there with more funding being allocated as we speak for a ballpark. The had port priority access given to them, won all of the legal battles and had an EIR approved. Ground could've been broken by now had Fisher scaled back his huge plan for howards terminal.
@@ACHEESEDANISHZ I don't think so. But spin it like you want
@@frankfisher3951it’s not spin it’s just reality
how's Fisher the villain? They didn't even sell out the stadium. Why's he the bad guy for moving the team away from a bad fan base that doesn't support their team? Las Vegas is going to be great. The fans in Vegas are dedicated and will treat the team better.
Because he's too cheap to pay any of his good players.

Im sure KC fans wanted the team they grew up rooting for to stay too. What goes around comes around
They got a new team a few years later, and the KC A’s weren’t there close to 55 years
@PB-yd4ce they were in Philly for more than 50. I'm just pointing out that they werent Oaklands team to begin with.
@@soxnotsocks And Philadelphia had the Phillies when they left. The A's had already lost the popularity battle to the Phillies, hence why they left. Again, not the same.

With whats going on with the A's it makes me want to watch the movie Major League!! 😂😂
