@hmk302 Ηe joined Dimmu Borgir in 1999, and quit in 2004, after then in 2005, Hellhammer from Mayhem and Arcturus joined the band (Dimmu Borgir). Nicholas Barker recorded three (3) studio albums with Dimmu Borgir. 'Spiritual Black Dimension (1999)', Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia (2001), and 'Death Cult Armageddon (2003)'.

@@Trotsky1981 Yeah, I know. Tjodalv is a beast in drumming. Enthrone Darkness Triumphant is my favourite Dimmu Borgir album, just because of the drum parts...and the synths as well...
I just remember it took me a month and a half to download this video in emule in a 56kbps...

I don't think Dani messed up. I think his Mic wasn't working. At 1:30 you can see a roadie guy fixing or replacing the mic.

I think the roadie only put the stand back up which Dani probably threw aside. - So it's unclear... Kinda weird.

I wasn’t allowed to listen to rock & metal growing up, but I heard Dani for the first time 4yrs almost and it was this song and I’ve never been so awestruck by a voice. It’s like it speaks to a part of me I didn’t know and soothes it in a way I can’t explain.

@@zbigniewiksinski tell me about it 😂😂 I was raised by my grandma after my mom passed away and she was super Christian and part of that generation that thought if you play records and tapes backwards that you can hear the devil speaking through rock ‘n’ roll. My uncle would have me help him do trips for the store sometimes to listen to things like rage against the machine, and Metallica, but that’s it. When I hit 18 and left home I started exposing myself to rock and metal and then found Dani & COF ❤️

Had kind of the same experience here. Danis voice is a real god given gift that in its energy is unsurpassed by any artist I know and the music they were able to create around it for a while is so full of passion it makes you feel warm inside. I still hardly ever want to listen to anything else than those few cradle works if I have the choice so you could almost say they ruined music for me because they were just that good haha
'She died to a sky dressed in flame' such a gothic masterpiece this LP definitely their peak.
I was at this gig and it was fucking killer. Funny seeing myself as an 18 year old crowd surfing at 1minutes 28.

He and Dani haven’t been on good terms since he left in 99. Plus Nick blew out his kidneys from years of neglecting his health, to the point where he needs dialysis 3-4 days a week and can’t work, let alone tour. In short, it’s never going to happen. ☹️

I say revive this line-up. i've kind of spaced myself from Cradle ever since Paul left, but we've got the classics still.
Amp661 when Gian left after Midian, I stopped listening. It was never the same after that. I love their older albums up to Midian
Cradle got better after Paul left imo. They are pretty decent now

I more or less stopped when Nick left.Erlandson is great but trying to follow Nick Barker is near impossible.
The best line up. Cruelty was the last decent album before they did a Metallica level sell out and went all silly for the MTV teenagers. Shame really.
