Top Down Survival Shooter In Godot | Part 1 - Tilemap Tutorial

Learn how to make a game from scratch in Godot. This survival shooter will be a top down game with 8 directional movement. Endless waves of enemies attack the player with each wave getting more and more difficult.
In this part, I focus on setting up the project and making a game map using tilemap and tile sets.

Love it! Can't wait for the next vid! I followed the godot Dino tutorial and loved it soo much. However for the ending game over I changed some game over scenes and made a game over screen that was playful with animations with the Dino running around before a bird catches it 😂😂 Mind you, I'm 12 and can finally go around saying I finally made a good game :)) Thanks russ:))) Please make a platformer tutorial like the one coco code made I'd love to make another game like that one but there isn't another good tutorial like it because I only can understand the tutorial from you two. Please Russ!!!!

I don’t know why but whenever I attempt to put the assets in godot it just doesn’t do anything, if I go to the file manager it shows it’s there but I can’t access any of it.

Unzip the file?
