Hi Lisa, having a problem adding text to a photo image. The odd thing is, it's worked several times but most of the time it doesn't. Using both options, text behind and text in front of the image, it doesn't matter. When the text appears correctly in front of the photo.....once the group option is used, the text disappears to the background. What is going on? I've attempted this process on a window machine and a mac. Have had more luck in windows. thanks

How make the text and the picture as a single unit so that when text is permanently embedded in the picture,

Select both the text box and the image by holding down the CMD/CTRL key whilst clicking on both elements. Go to the SHAPE/IMAGE FORMAT tab click on GROUP dropdown and select GROUP. This will turn them both into 1 element.

Make sure you have changed the wrapping to TIGHT or BEHIND TEXT. To do this, right click on the image > Wrapping > Tight.
