Can we stop comparing EVERY last symphonic band to Nightwish? Please..... They aren't the "be all, end all". Yes, the singer has an operatic voice. So what? That doesn't mean she's copying Tarja.... -_-

Oh fuck finally i found someone who can truly understand Nightwish, or better Tuomas! Nightwish have never been only very beautiful music, but also POETRY. There is a true corrent in Tuomas' thought and poetry, roughly identificable with Romanticism, but he's added something more. So in my opinion no bands could ever be as nightwish, because none of them, for good singers or guitarist, have a composer and poet such as Tuomas
@TranceAnton Anette is not so bad, she has just a totally different voice and way of singing... In Imaginaerum she is awesome... But I agree that Manuela'v voice is far better. :)
Hm, I don't agree. What Nightwish makes so special are Tuomas songs. Ghost love Score, The Poet and the Pendulum, I want my tears back, Nemo ... they're journeys, from the beginning to the end, again and again, no matter if Anett or Tarja is singing them. Jeah, it sounds diffrent but they will always be magical. Xandria also has good songs, but for me, they lack inspiration. So I can't agree that its better than "new" Nightwish, just because they changed their vocalist :)
ohh yess they are although im still a fan of nightwish nightwish is not the same anymore without Tarja. The new album is nothing compared to the other ones. Annette sounds more pop than anything else. I'm still listinning to the real nightwish with Tarja instead of the new album with annette because i just find it disapointing although i have to give credit that the new album is nicely done for a soundtrack for a movie but thats about it.
