So sorry for your loss. There's not much that can make it feel easier. But at least you have all your cute babies to come home to. That's all I really have most of the time myself, is my dog & cat. My son went through the same thing with his nana and papa who were really sick and he didnt know that his papa was sick and he didnt know that his papa passed away and when I told him he just broke down instantly and he has been so depressed ever since then and Im hoping that he knows his nana and papa are always watching over him

Hi Omar and family. So sorry for your loss. My granddaughter was 6 years old when her parents where told last April that she had type 1 diabetes. We looked after her yesterday a she was not feeling to good with her diabetes. She hates how people keep asking her how she is feeling. My poor little miss Ellie hates asking all the time how her levels are, calling her name. But how can you not worry about a loved who has some kind of illness. But I her Nanna did tell her that I loved her and I will always worry about her.
You are such a strong person and such a great role model for everyone. Thank you, we are going thru our own feelings of loss and mourning, we just found out 1 week ago that our mother has an In- operable brain tumor and has not long to be with us before we must say goodbye, or as you put it " see you later". I still am the same in a since.i was in and out of the hospital almost all my life until a couple of years ago. Bu I still make sure I try to keep my health in check. I'm 31, now going on 32. I’m a type 1 diabetic too. This video scared me to death. I’m so so sorry about your cousin/sister. People tend to blame every single thing on our diabetes when most things aren’t even related to it. T1D is actually easier than T2D. We don’t tend to loose limbs the same as type 2 and it’s a little easier to control because our pancreas isn’t playing tug of war with us trying to stabilize our sugar. However, we as diabetics can do everything the same and do as we should and diabetes will do whatever it wants whenever it wants. I’ve been working with doctors here in Mobile, Alabama teaching them, as they already know that insulin is a hormone so in females it becomes difficult when our hormones shift (like at cycle times) then our insulin will drop our sugar way too low at times or it can make it more difficult for the insulin to lower sugar at other times when hormones are just chillin. Again, I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, from your 47 year old T1D fam -AJ

I’m a type 1 diabetic too. This video scared me to death. I’m so so sorry about your cousin/sister. People tend to blame every single thing on our diabetes when most things aren’t even related to it. T1D is actually easier than T2D. We don’t tend to loose limbs the same as type 2 and it’s a little easier to control because our pancreas isn’t playing tug of war with us trying to stabilize our sugar. However, we as diabetics can do everything the same and do as we should and diabetes will do whatever it wants whenever it wants. I’ve been working with doctors here in Mobile, Alabama teaching them, as they already know that insulin is a hormone so in females it becomes difficult when our hormones shift (like at cycle times) then our insulin will drop our sugar way too low at times or it can make it more difficult for the insulin to lower sugar at other times when hormones are just chillin. Again, I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, from your 47 year old T1D fam -AJ
