I never bought one, so take this with a spoonful of salt, but I think the curiosity box is the only one that makes sense because people who are generally interested in science will at least go "oh, neat" when they get an astronomy thing, a set theory doodad, and a biology macguffin, while people who are into tech or art aren't generally looking for a mixed bag of unrelated items (e.g. "great, what am I going to do with another charger, a massage ball, and a head lamp?")
I just got my second one (the one shown in the video). While I can't argue for the price - I guess the stuff is worth it, but afterall you're still "wasting" $60 on a t shirt and some random useless things - I do enjoy all of these things for my collection (the coin puzzle is also a pretty good fidget toy xD). Were it ~$40, I'd recommend it to everyone

The brake fluid tester is the one used in a automotive workshop they have a long life span and with stand a lot of crashing etc lucky it was only listed at 836 USD most of those tools will be more than 2000 USD

You should gift that fluid tester over to the friend at Donut media. It's great for racing purposes as the brake fluid tends to get extra hot and it's great for racers and their techs to know the fluids boiling point and maybe even get better fluid for their vehicles.

I was curious and looked if I can buy that Tester (or a similar one) at a Car Mechanic accessories store here. Found the exact same Model (310009) for ~ 700€. So 578$ (including shipping from Australia) is far from diabolical. He can easily resell that to a local Garage or on eBay for 600+$
