Former GameStop employee here: what really sucks is that the job is basically a jack of all trades for minimum wage. So like you’re packing and shipping stuff, running a store, taking in shipments, and hard selling a membership (usually by yourself). Tack on that sometimes you’ll get coworkers who don’t participate in gaming as a hobby or worse, a corporate hack who somehow ended up working in the store, and I can see how what happened to you happened.
The ex GameStop employee in me is super sorry lol. Some of them try their bests and are really cool people. And some of them are the stereotypical GameStop employee. It’s weird.
