Wake up boy and come back to earth coz life and getting money ain't no fairytale. Not at all. So perhaps we start with that? It's very easy to rock it when you have a put load of money to throw around excessively and spend (too?) much on a wardrobe. If Alpha kept it real he firstly explained from scratch what life as man is really about in the beginning. Even in this video! The basic essentials (values) of life have absolutely nothing to do with money. Absolutely nothing! And bytheway the women that are attracted by some fake look I got money little drama are THE WRONG WOMEN to begin with. You always get the essentials (of life) fully right first and then chase after things that generate money. Perhaps in Alpha's case generate that kinda money and give some to charity? How about that for starters? Hey, wait a minute, besides salon Posta, we never hear something about that! Wait, what? That's not a coincedence... The way Aaron goes around preaching that he knows the light is just putting up a sad, shameful and deceitful little drama. And I wonder what happens when the theater goes bankrupt.
Everyone likes the old money better, because it's the trend right now, so yes you can find that style in about every rack. Alpha aims for outfits that will never be out of fashion, mainly because they fit normally lol
It’s a pleasure to see this dude is still alive. I used to follow him a decade back I think when I was a teenager. Later I realised that this is a marketing channel, and all of the videos are ads (script of the video is written for a product he is selling). But it’s good to see that he is still hustling till today …
If you cancel out the old vs new then "MONEY" style is simply solid colours or subtle patterns, good fit and great fabric. Mono-tones, no big logos or excessive jewellery & wear a nice watch. Looks like new money just added black as a colour, has shirts without collars and added jeans, joggers & sportswear as a super-casual option. I think there is room for both in your wardrobe.
100% agreed. Also the dull earthy tones generally associated with the old money aesthetic can be boring. In my opinion blacks, whites, blues look a lot better especially on darker skin tones.
@@WhiteRangerTP blues (i'm talking navy) look good on every skin color. Black creates a huge a contrast on lighter skin. There needs to be some contrast but not too much or too little. On the other hand, darker skinned people get washed out in earthy browns.
@@mdsouz4 its a common knowledge that the darker colors are more suitable for lighter skin. Black and navy blue without a question look better on light skin. Specially if its a blue on someone with blue eyes, you cant deny it
Not going to lie, I’m in my late twenties and have been rocking the old money style for a long time; granted when I was younger it was easy enough to make the style younger too (for instance mixing an Oxford button down, with a pair of 5.5 inseam shorts) and a pair of Sperry’s. Now that I’m a bit older with a young family, I find myself going to work in simple slacks, Coke Haans or a pair oxfords or loafers and a polo or button down from brooks brothers, Ralph Lauren, Peter Millar, etc.
I dress new money all the time but i also want to be comfortable so i try to find pieces that are comfortable but are timeless and I can’t wear for years . I’m much as a simple dresser but I can dress up anything with the shoes or I put a layer on
I’m look to get some long sleeve dress shirts. I have long arms so when I get a shirt with long enough sleeves it looks baggy. Can you recommend a company to buy something better fitting? Thanks
Yeah.... because it never goes out of fashion lol, and if you are talking about the quality of the clothes, well that is the entire point of this video lol. This "old money" trend will be out by next year, just like every trend before it
@@StuntmanDanHemi The old money trend is bullshit. Boring if anything. People are too boring with this shit but i feel like people conflate old money style with simple elegant/smart clothing
Alpha M, one thing I recommend adding to future videos when mentioning Denim is bringing up length of the jeans. If the Width size is good, you should tell Men they shouldn't be afraid to go to a Tailor they know to get the LENGTH right. It can be very difficult to find Jeans just an inch longer or shorter than you need off the rack. This is why it is important to take time to find a Tailor, and build a long standing customer base with them. This way, if you see Jeans or any other pants you like but they may be too long, you can spend about $30 - $40 to have the shortened and hemmed. Having a Tailor you know makes a better Man because you can fit pieces of clothing you have, or update them if you get materials.
I love all this however for me… many of us carry a personal protection “device” my style is a little more lose fitting I would love to wear more fitting clothes but I value life more than style. Maybe there is a way to do both lol Loving the Pete & Pedro products and Tiege Hanley I can’t stop ordering lol

I like those joggers from Cuts, but where do you carry your firearm? Cuts needs to team up with an EDC manufacturer for the perfect men's wear. "Thumbs way up" from this Kentucky boy! 👍👍
Just looked to order something from Cuts. They are using 60% exchange rate from US to Canada. Actual exchange rate is closer to 35%. then shipping and taxes are added. I understand shipping and taxes and don't mind paying that if I want an item shipped but fix the exchange rate.
Old money does sound better but, what I like best is the old minds, and the knowledge they possess. But personally, I'm not remotely rich however, I do dress in a way that is stylish, classic. You don't need lots of money to look amazing .
hey man, you're absolutely right about the acessories and footwear but real New Money aesthetic is actually looser than Old Money. It doesn't look baggy and cheap beacuse of the adjustments and the quality of all the outfit. The shirt is oversize but it's cropped, the pant is most of times regular or even looser
@vespadavidson2315 people who don't have something they made for themselves are upset when other people have it. Don't be sad that others ain't as fresh and happy as you.
Normally when i see someone with a Gucci handbag, or a t-shirt with a designers name on it, I assume it's fake and they're from a poor. Obviously if I'm in a rich area I don't think this tho.
Visit a thrift store and take the clothes to a tailor if they don't fit perfectly. I think India is probably amazing for textiles and tailors or have I been misled?
New Money traditionally means overly flashy and absolutely covered in logos and jewelry. Old Money means more restraint with an emphasis on timeless design, high build quality, and superior materials. New Money doesn’t care about any of those qualities, they just want whatever screams “I’m rich” the loudest. Ironically, logos and jewelry are easily faked so it’s simple for a poor person to look like a New Money person. That’s why Old Money in actuality always looks higher end even though it is far subtler.
I believe you can make most looks work if you take care of your body- that said the punk/ skater/ teen look is atrocious no matter what! Great stuff Alpha, love the “modern rich”
Just when I think this person can not get any more ridiculous than he already is... BOOM... "new money aesthetic" 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ It's the perfect example of an oxymoron. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
