Same with rebel ships during the rebellion and you could even make an argument for the empire not having logs on their ships to mask the amount of traffic going to certain destinations, e.g. the construction site of the death star.

Also... SM-33's response / reaction to whenever At-Attin is mentioned reminded me of when Fern did a memory override on her house droid. The droid seemed to interject oddly in to a conversation as soon as Fern being in her room was mentioned. And then he pats SM-33 on the shoulder while smiling. For someone that supposedly hates droids, I found that awfully suspicious. I haven't put together a theory that I'm confident in, but it ranges from him having a first mate droid, too, at some point in the past. Even if SM-33 were to recognize him as Captain Silvo or Crimson Jack, his new captain said he was a Jedi, so maybe it's not quite adding up yet.

SM-33; then this got me thinking about pirots lore and baried treasure and how they buried their treasure along with their men so no one new where it was. Could SM-33 have been left behind to kill the crew to protect the location of the treasure.
I grew up on pirate movies and scene this is suppose to be based on pirate lore; ala Goonies, he treasure was buried along with the crew. The ship the kids found was filled with dead bodies. I'm thinking Treasure Planet, and SM-33 as B.E.N.

The droid not remembering puzzled me too. He was there, he should know how they came there. And he should know what happened to his captain and his crew, that the girl didn't kill the captain. Maybe he was deactivated before the fight and the crashlanding, but then, why? And it's obvious that the ship lied on AtAttin for a long time, i can't imagine how it got buried so deep that noone could see it and noone remembered it, but by time. So no present character should be connected to the ship and it's history. My thoughts for AtAttin are, that the treasure is not money or something material, it's wisdom. Like Asimovs Foundation they were supposed to store knowledge in rough times, maybe guarded by an AI. But that went out of hand and kept controlling everything on the planet.

Honestly-I‘d been loving a second season of The Acolyte.There would be still a lot to tell about this era of the SW timeline.A pity the viewership had gotten so bad.And Amanda Sternberg isn‘t only a very beautiful eye catcher, I think her acting was also really good. And the “ power of many” chant was lazy and poorly executed and they should’ve been in Wookiee style tree huts instead of a concrete damn if a devastating fire was going to be central to the plot.
