    I'm a digital artist but I still watch many of these to help with learning differing technics since they are all transferable to digital. Excellent tutorials Kirsty! Very clear and concise narration and over the shoulder quality filming. You are very good at this and I hope you continue. Do you ever work with digital art, like on the iPad for example? Have you ever tried using an Apple Pencil?

    my art teacher always told me to use black last but maybe that's just for painting.Anyway we all have different ways.This looks amazing and very realistic. fantastic 👌x (hair is something I really need to practice so thanks for all your hair videos.Ive definitely improved by watching in the past )

      Thank you and yes everyone has there own way of doing things. I don't believe that there is one correct way, just test out both and see which one works for you :D Also I am so glad my videos are helping you

    I like the idea of scraping the pencil away with the knife, quite necessary with the build up you can get after so much layering! I wonder if a small piece of very course grain sand paper might do a similar job? I'll give it a try soon...

    one more question, can that white pencil be bought in any art supply store or online? Does the white polychromos work the same which is what I have x

      yes you can buy the white luminance on its own online. I do not like the white polychromos as much because like Anthony said it isn't as opaque and doesn't show up as well as the luminance one does :)

    Some artists gets very tiny white lines on hair like heather rooney And i never get how they do it.I use electric eraser as Well but it never creates tiny lines :/ btw,thanks for sharing for tips helps a lot ❤️

      but i only use a normal eraser as an alternative since i couldn't find an electric one

    Do you have any videos with tips on how to sketch the actual outline? I understand what I have to do, but after months of practise I'm still so bad at it and never get to the point of being able to colour/shade 😭

    Good thing i found your video. Darn i drew last night and i was doing well on the skin, but the hair i just grew impatient and colored it black. Now it looked like a poo smashed over a paper.
