I love your reviews.... You took the basic Cayenne when most other reviewers went for the S or Turbo just for their own fun and not the viewers consideration. I hope I can afford a Cayenne someday and its good to know that the base model will do just fine in terms of power. Thank you

I’m buying this the day it is available. I have a Panamera right now but seeing it’s interior in an SUV has convinced me.
Just swapped my 2020 Taycan 4S for an identical 2018 Cayenne as depicted here, just with a black/tan interior. Looking forward to not having to charge along the road going on longer drives. Perfect review Autogefühl👌🏻

Never been a fan of the Cayenne looks, but this time I think they nailed the rear quite well.
Terrific video. Overall, I like the new design. I love horizontal and parallel lines on vehicle exteriors. The front grill, and also the tail lights that cover the rear width. Very attractive.

Excellent video and review as we've come to expect from Tomas & co. Watching you drive on the roads of Crete brought back many good memories of the time I spent a month holidaying there when the roads where not quite as good as you experienced. Fortunately I had the perfect car for back then, a Citroen 2CV!

I think they've hit the mark with this redesign. As much as I like Lexus, I much prefer the Porsche design in comparison to the RX's "monster car" look. Btw, the restrained blue I like a lot . . maybe we could call it "Sub-Thomas" blue.

its a beautiful redesign
I think that the Cayenne looks nicer in light colours/White and with the black wheel-arch trims rather than the ugly-looking painted version.

The new rear of the Cayenne is a real eyecatcher 😮😍 I really like the new interior and exterior elements since the Panamera got launched 👍
I hope there will also be a V8 diesel available very soon. My absolute favorite are the Turbo / Turbo S and GTS models but the power of the "normal" S model is also enough . 😘

Those are the best roads to test a car. In those roads you find the positives and negatives on a car. Not in perfect roads like other companies do so they hide the negatives and show that their product is perfect. Porsche has big balls to do that. First time i enjoy the road on car review. Look the tight corners, the tight road with little bumps. Thats how a car must test drive, not in super roads that everything is right. Car companies must go there to test it like Porsche did. I wonder if Mercedes , BMW , Jaguar etc have big balls like Porsche to test their cars in reall roads like Porsche did and then we see how much good is their cars.

Great car,good exterior styling.you don't mess with a successful style so it was smart for them to make subtle exterior changes.Terrific interior ,great quality .It kind of looks like an AUDI A8 inside with those big touch screens.Did AUDI steal the design from Porsche or Porsche from Audi? Anyway super SUV,but just too expensive for me .I could probably only afford the PORSCHE Macan instead..Great video Thomas,keep it up!

Audi and porsche is owned by the same company more widely known as VW, therefore neither audi or porsche steal anything, probably the smae people working on both cars..

I think the design is suitable for what the vehicle is. Certain brands are expected to keep brand identity so therefore it’s fine in my opinion. It’s enough change to make you immediately notice that it’s new while still maintaining the over image of the Porsche identity. Range Rover, Wrangler, G Wagen are another few that MUST keep its iconic identity no matter how new the vehicle is.

Passive night vision is just cool, but active night vision, the solution that analyzes the image and highlights possible danger (animals, people, ...) is very useful.Can save your life or a life of a pedestrian. I'm sure Porsche has the active solution.

Great choice showing us the base v6 gas engine. In country where i came from, anything over than the base engine is too expensive due to tax.

New key reminds me of a widebody Prius. There’s actually one in Super GT. It uses a mid mounted LMP engine.
This car is worth the price because its cheaper than range rover sport and lx 570

I think they did the smart thing, keeping the looks mostly the same. It looks good to me, especially in this lovely color. Reminds me of the BMW 3 series (E46) I had in the color 'stahlblau'.
The interior is really nice too, although I have my doubt about using the touch controls for everything, I would prefer some old fashioned knobs here and there. But maybe it's easy to get used to.
And it sounds great, drives great with the base engine. Sounds like an easy choice for those, who can afford it! :-))

WOW, great looking subject as usual, and the Porsche looks pretty good too! ;-) Another reason to consider to choose to not to pick the sport seats is, as you demonstrated, that the rear seats will not fold flat (I think it is a 15 degree penalty) due to the side bolsters.

10:20 Hah ha ha.. tops Thomas! Exterior has same appeal/balance as smaller Macan. Interior ambience/dash lay-out and dials has really improved greatly. Main physical buttons mixed with some touch screen is good. Really like the 3 spoke design of the steering wheel and center tachometer dial with TFT screens at both ends. Kudos to Porsche.
Black wheel arches on the white vehicle trick you in thinking the 20-inch wheels seem smaller.
Do believe night vision does help a lot especially seeing further where normal vision just isn't enough and where there is not many/or no street lamps on one or both sides of the road.

In the future, please test the car's acceleration without launch control or pre-reving the engine. Because the in real world, nobody use launch control from every stop!
I know a lot of car magazines posted 0~100km or 0~60mph time using launch control, but it's simply not realistic, and not relevant to most people.

Love that scratchy plastic on the back of the seat of my 100 000 euro suv. Why did't they cover it at least with some cloth
But the worst thing I saw was bentley bentayga rear shelf, with string attached to the trunk. Remined me of my old 1989 peugeot 205 although it's fine in small cheap car, but the worst and cheapest idea possible in a uberluxury suv

Nothing wrong with skoda superb but skoda has mqb platform, porsche cayenne has mlb platform. Big difference.

0-60 was done uphill a little? it seems that CarandDriver got 4.9 seconds out of it. Plus two people in the car as well. So what I am saying is I think it can surely do faster - 5 seconds to 0-60
