I had no idea ascendancy runes had recipes at all. Now i need to go read up how many items have recipes! Perfect guide as always, with several demos showing different scenarios to really drive it home, thanks!
Honestly this is best good to show how flexible the crafting system is in acquiring what you want. Even from items that dont have any stats you want, you can make useful ones. Especially good for leveling
i feel like rune of removal and glyph of hope are main things that do anything. glyph of chaos is very random and rarely gives anything good. Rune of refinement costs too much FP. Rune of discovery is almost useless in 99% of cases. it is only if your slamming low LP items and need to put affixes for 4 LP or when your doing this 21 affix. Glyph of despair is very powerful but ALSO really difficult to get early on. New green glyph is just corruption pushing. not even crafting item.
Great guide to making this helm. I also love the filter. Super helpful and helps weed out the less desirable unique items and low LP stuff that wastes time.
@dmrr1695 you can do the download, but I select a couple at the beginning, then at the end hit shift click so it selects all the text. Then in game you can import from paste bin

@dmrr1695 glad that worked! So the filters in LE work on a decending rule overwrite existing rules. The hide everything is there so it can start fresh. Rules after that are permission rules and "unlock" the things you want to see. Also, you can duplicate a filter, keeping the original as a template to make future filter creating easier and not starting from scratch.
I've got a question for you on the type of helm to use: In your video, you said that we should use a Runed Visage. You showed the LastEpochTools page that states you need to use a Runed Visage helm. In your loot filter, for the Fractured Crown rule, you selected a Celesial helm. Do both types of helm work?

Can I somehow add this to my existing loot filter? I want to use your static orb + frost claw loot filter as soon as possible. Or do you happen to have a combined lootfilter?
You can combine it manually using a text editor, there are probably tutorials online on doing that, otherwise you'll want to edit the exalt rules manually to add missing stuff
There are, you can craft this way experimental affixes you want on gloves, boots and belt, it is even more sophisticated but very helpful if you need a specific experiment piece of gear
Oh I was thinking rune of ascendance specifically, yea there are other crafts like the experimentals mentioned, tunklabs has a great tool for that; lastepoch.tunklab.com/insight
Yo think a build with clever solution * weapon would be good for tank mage ? If you get 140 str and intelligence? Really boost up your armor dontcha think ?
It's not really worth the cost, we get so many good int nodes in the passive trees which would be completely wasted, wouldn't be able to stack nearly as much INT which also gives ward retention, and losing access to a proper weapon like Ladle or Wrongwarp would be hard. There just isn't enough STR synergy for mage
@@FrozenSentinel i think the problem is that you lose too much flat damage. i had that idea for spellblade at one point. fracture crown spellblade but i think issue is that you cannot double crit in the game. if you could, than stacking 200% crit chance would be 4x crits. it might be viable if you use palarus's sacred light sword which convert every 2 point of strength into +1 spell damage. but idk. you off-hand this sword and clever.
I'm gonna try and gather some strength mage items and see if it worth it at all lol I feel with mana/ armor idols and hit 10k + armor but damage would come only from spark charge damage
Also is a dagger 🗡️ good rune dagger with crit % implicit and it has spell and melee damage it attacks super fast and applies stacks quickly seems better then ladle imo.
It was a secret recipe waaaaay back in the day, like before 0.7 or so. Drvs added it in, helm was super strong so lots of incentive to discover it. The community had to discover the recipe and eventually figured it out
Two characters 90+ this run, I had 2 shards of damage dealt to mana before health. Where do I find these? Also have only found 2 Visage crowns the whole game. Everything that drops for me is either fire damage or minnion bullshit. This game needs help in the 'random' drops category! Making me want to drop the game completely tbh. I have been shattering everything as well!
Add any item with those shards to your loot filter, use a rune of removal instead as shatter is not guaranteed to give the shards. Runed Visage is quite common for me, not sure what to tell you. Are you playing a mage?

If he gets a 0LP fractured crown, it can be used w the nemesis thing. It will then show up via that rule.
Exactly what @bighed23 said, the rule is for showing the unique helm after Nemesis usage

just made 2 helms thanks to your video. no LP but thats ok. is there a way to craft prismatic gaze this way? i cant seem to get it to drop
This is the only special recipe, Prismatic Gaze is just fairly rare unfortunately.
You can get it out of Runes of Ascendance on helms normally though.

I know you only really play mage a lot, but could you come up with a dope ass sential build. I know it's a reach but your builds are soo good.

You can get 5+ FC Casts per second with Ladle, not same with a melee proccing FC
