Can't thank you enough. My enjoyment of the game has greatly increased with your helpful videos and comments on Discord. I switched from your more basic frostclaw build to a variation of this build and it is fantastic. Having that big single target burst is huge, and the teleport every 5 seconds boosts damage like crazy.
For those using a Julra's ring, keep in mind that it gets procced if you use Evade as well! (and for some reason it also gets procced whenever you use the dungeon ability in the Temporal Sanctum as well)
I have been following the evolution of this and popping in stream and want to say thanks for all the great tips. Also. Nemesis upgraded my 0lp flames to 3lp. I let out a very audible “wahoo”
I did your Frost Claw spark charge build last cycle. Thought I'd do something different this cycle. Started with a torment lock, but then your "Perfect Mage" video dropped and oh well, I just HAD to go back 😂 Been running the "Secret Weapon" FC build till now while gathering mana gear. Could do about 1600 ish mana now so yeah I think I'm ready to swap to Static Orb. Thanks for keeping FC alive bud, my favorite skill ❤ I never usually comment, but I just had to for this.
I’ve lived and died by your guides FrozenSentinel - thank you for your contributions to the community! I popped a 3 LP Wrongwarp, had the perfect exalted wand to slam, and missed the T7 crit multi affix. It ended up with Mana gained as ward, lightning pen, and stun chance. Good times!
I have made a transition from Spark charge into Orb a few days ago and I want to give some feedback and comparison. It is obviously better for bossing, you just delete them and that's it. For mapping - you move faster, clear faster, but damn, it is so easy to die. Like any little shrimp can kill you if you are not attentive. You need to keep an eye on your ward and your mana, also trying not get hit. If you are out of mana and the focus skill is on cooldown - you are dead instantly. The guys from discord say "skill issue" and I agree. With spark charge it is much easier to restore mana with teleport+meteor. And flame for better defence. If you like to run echos brainless, with some podcast or video on the second monitor, like I do - this build could not fit for you. I will give it a try for a few days more, maybe do some upgrades, or figure out what am I doing wrong, but already disapointed.
Like you I also struggled when I first spec'd into static orb, the transition was a bit awkward, my clear got worse when I dropped INT, and my bossing wasn't good enough yet to oneshot, I ended up swapping back to FC until I had better gear. I can confidently say that this build is overall much better, but there is a minimum threshold before that becomes the case. Mana stops being an issue once you get to 1500 or so, you get so much free regen and extra recovery from mana tunnel + static. This also gives a lot of extra ward. As mentioned in the video, if you are feeling weak I would strongly suggest removing some of the mentioned "optional" movespeed nodes that I have allocated and putting them into INT / Defense, that should help a lot already. Flames of Midnight is also not a great defensive option, that ends up being more of an end game min-maxing ring. If the build isn't for you that's totally okay, pure Frost Claw Spark Charge is still extremely strong and has a lot of min-maxing potential, I'll probably revisit it at some point to see how far FC can be pushed.
@@FrozenSentinel Yes, thanks, I will try to swap movement passives into int, also) Just wanted to warn ppl that the build could be not casual friendly and could be even more difficult to play if transitioned too early.
Keep making good videos like this it really helps. In particular i like that you give loot options and your options on wby your choosing this vs that, also i like that you give options for exacted gear and what to look for. Its so much better then what everyone else does.
What the actual FK man. Lol, swapped to this build this morning. Had something like 500m gold and bought all of the needed pieces. All of them not even close to good. Only sitting at 900 mana and around 80 int and this build absolutely DOMINATES. Feels literally 10-20x the damage and speed of frostbite version. The speed, the damage the boss killing. Omg. I can't believe I waited this long to swap. Question though: When I use Arcane Ascendence, it only bring sup my static orb to 80-90k. Yours is sitting at 800k. What am I missing?
I had a self made fireball meteor Sorc that was doing fine in 100C empowered monos but struggling to kill bosses. I got a 2LP Wrongwarp from the souls gambling vendor and decided to try this build... holy moly. Mono clear is 3X faster and I easily killed the first boss I tried because the insane move speed and the Wrongwarp invuln makes survival so much easier. This is with solid but not remotely optimised gear, I'm excited to find some better equip and something to slam onto my Wrongwarp.
man no point to play cycle at this point u get same content in legacy mode. Cycle was only made for ladders and few players already got lvl 100 in first 2 days
Amazing work as always! I’ll have to try and work on finding amulets and my legendary slams. I’m farming 500 pretty comfortably with the frostclaw meteor build. I need to rework some items to add mana, just hanging at 1k. I just hit 99, so I haven’t gotten a lot of great exhalted items yet, still a work in progress.
Disclaimer for people who want to go for this build on MG. The mana + mana/armor idols are currently a minimum of 1,000,000,000 a piece. Everything else is also in the high millions.
Ever since the gold exploit the money in circulation in the economy ballooned far more than anyone could have anticipated, and it really just never got any better at all. People just don’t realize how absurd the quantities were with the gold exploit.
great work dude, im sticking to coc meteor, glacier, static orb since i ve been using frost claw all cycle 1 and it feels great too. Happy u found the way to still playing frostclaw as u promised. Still loving loving your content. What u do think of the necklace from aborroth? seems pretty op to me if u can slam t7 mana in it
@@FrozenSentinel ye cpnfluence is what im using rn...i ve been having a hard time to find exalted items this season....idk. got a bunch of uniques that i need to slam but lack ezalted items xD
Dunno about MG but for CoF getting 2x Julras Stardials with insane rolls is super easy. T1 Julra is guaranteed to drop 1x ring with 1LP, which gets boosted to 2.5 rings every run with the rank10 perk. Its also a low lvl ring so you run T1 and slam at teh same time. Takes sub 1 hour to get 2 almost perfect rolled Stardials with T6/7 int
Great work again, just a small side note when you mention one shots with static orb-might be confusing-it is not actually One shot, you shoot 3,4,5 times the static orb I think what you mean one rotation which means when you deplete your mana pool. Thank you for this build I really enjoyed it, tweaked it for HC and it was a tank until I encountered a bug which instantly killed my lvl97 character at corruption 124 with 4000+ ward, 1400 mana and 1100life due to a fire ground effect dealing 200 dmg with 100 dmg overflow, very sad that HC is basically unplayable, so I stopped playing until they fix all the stupid bugs
Yea you are right, "one rotation" would be more accurate. By the fire ground effect do you mean "Smouldering Lithrac"? Those enemies spit out overlapping fire effects per time you hit them, so it's not just one hit of 200 damage, it's dozens all at the same time, this is basically a counter to Frost Claw as we hit so many times. It tends to drop the frame rate really badly too which makes the effects hard to avoid. I'd personally just teleport out of an echo if you were to see these enemies on hardcore but also understand why that would ruin the experience for you.
@@FrozenSentinel Honesty, I am not sure, it looked like a big chicken, I know what you mean, but I ran those echos hundred times and encountered any enemies and in corruption 124 nothing even scratched me when you generate hundreds of ward a second and I played extremely defensively, shooting every half a second generating thousands of ward just to be sure. I mean this is a bad game design if you survive Lagon or other tougher bosses or enemies and a single yellow mob kills you when you killed it. And now I see the problem of Mage DR - I invested 8 passive points into dr from shocked enemies, however, if you kill them this dr does not apply to afterdeath effect because it is not shocked, which makes this passive not really effective. And it cannot happen that there are dozens of ovelapping explosions that each damages you and instantly kills you without any warning or ramping up. My voice means nothing, but streamers can have some influence on developers and they could listen - my suggestion would be if your character is damaged by any ground effect, there is a grace period after the first one and lets say the next one can damage you after a second - and the initial hurts you for 30% of the damage, next for 50 etc. in this case if a player stands in this, sure have him damaged, but how can I mitigate dozens of explosions at same time - the damage in that moment must have exceeded 5000 at corruption 124 - it just doesnt make any sense. I love this game, but these moments ruin your 60-70hour journey - and btw this was my 4th HC character - first died due to Elder Gaspar beam misalignment bug, second DC, third when they deploy patches and the game lags and the forth due to this if not a bug, definitely a stupid mechanic. I think when they removed that absurd amount of ward characters had last cycle, these mechanics are more apparent - sure last cycle we could overlook it because we were sitting at 15-20k ward and could not see that these things do 6-7k dmg, but now...
This build is pretty awesome, thanks. I strugle a bit with the bossing. My Gear is very good and the Monolith clear feels great. I have overcharged Mana of 2600 when bossing and 122 Int. No Idea i got 2 Red Rings with t7 int and orian with t7 mana.
Make sure the combo is done in the order mentioned, and you aren't using the burst before the "Invuln" period of certain bosses ends where they take significantly reduced damage. This is an issue for Harbingers and Abberoth. You can also use Julra ring / frac crown, etc for more single target damage if necessary. Make sure your crit chance is high. Also if Abberoth is not being stunlocked he enters another "invuln" period between phase transitions
@@FrozenSentinelThanks 👍 I am also mostly playing relaxed with controller 😅 and I dont think Disintegrate works correctly for me. I can kill the Harbinger easy without swapping the Gear. Maybe I need to get the combo just right. I will try it with julras ring next.
I'm playing the previous build from a few weeks ago and it's amazing, and I've been working towards transitioning to the one in this video, but there is some explanation lacking in regards to the frost claw mana cost. Or more probably, I just lack the knowledge to understand. So unless you get a Wrongwarp with -3 mana cost, you must skip taking "Gift of Winter" from the Frost Claw talent three, there is no way around that (you do mention this in the video). But then, if you don't take Gift of Winter, you also can't take the connected tree nodes, and in particular the "Spark Artillery" which converts your cold damage to lightning. I thought this was quite critical part of the build, or maybe it is not? On the build planner linked in this video I can see it's not taken, but in the original frost claw video it's taken. Also, I just want to say these build guides are absolutely amazing, so cheers to you my man!
@@FrozenSentinel Ah all right then, thank you very much for the clarification. And just a few min ago I got a 3LP Wrongwap, so things are looking good :)
Great work, lot of research, perfect build guide! BUT... There is no chance to get gear pieces even close to this for casual players (2-3 hours a day playtime). Anyway, thank you for your work.
Yeah the gear shown in the video is very end game, the standard Frost Claw Sorc build I linked in the description will perform much better for more casual players and does very well on budget gear, I'd recommend playing that from ~level 51 on.
@@FrozenSentinel I think we misunderstood each other: - if you are not moving and use evade it does not give ward, this a frequent scenario when you are casting in place for bosses (maybe not so much with your build or playstyle) - if you are moving and then stop moving at the same time as you use evade it does give ward, I meant this scenario when I said that you have to walk, but I admit I didn't write it clearly and I just didn't bother reading your previous answer
@@randomname123 ah, yes. You can also tap your movekey while casting to queue up a fraction of a second of movement in between casts. Not sure if intended but seems to work
Big thanks to your sharing on Reddit, I'm still tinkering around, but I am able to do well in 200 corruption n beyond for now Will do more tuning tomorrow, but I think a lot equipment especially LP unique gonna need time to farm 1st
Great guide, thanks! I wish I used this build instead of the CoC Meteor / Glacier i transitioned to as it looks like it plays way smoother. Unfortunately probably won't get to try it out as I think I'm already done with the cycle after killing Abby.
i'm having a problem. My FC mana cost is 44, i'm trying to make it to 40-41, so i add a point to Gift of winter which -2 mana cost. But then FC turns to 39.6 mana cost. I checked all my gears and passive, there no mana efficiency or something like that.
Use the mana cost calculator I provided, you have a -4 wand, you can use a FC Mana Cost Efficiency + Increased Mana / Armor idol with up to 10% mana cost efficiency.
Frozen what you think to get switnes fromm gloves not ring, and put 2 altaria, and use fingers of the phantom mire, they have swiftness too, i think is easier to get 3-4lp and put mana, int there mayby some experimental
Yea the gloves are a fine option. Downside is that the base is really bad and it doesn't really give us anything except swiftness. Terrify only lasts up to 2.7 seconds and can only be inflicted on per enemy. We also lose the Evade teleport from the ring which is a huge mobility boost. It might be worth if you get a good 3 or 4LP as Red Ring is pretty strong and gives us a bit of extra movespeed.
I love myself the lightning claw variant, although with flames of midnight, wouldn't it make sense to pick the fire claw? you'd be able to skip the disintegrate slot on your bar as well
Put it together, and I'm having a LOT of problems on bosses. I do the 5 step program you outline to set them up, spam static orb, and they're still at ~50% health and my mana's empty at around 300 corruption. I run around, trying to find a moment I can stand still for ~5 seconds to refill with Focus, and usually die. Also, noticed in the planner that you have most of your resists at ~50% or lower in order to pull this off. Is that sustainable? I tried it and was getting clapped pretty regularly.
You need to make sure your mana is negative when you start channeling it, it gives the burst and also will regenerate much faster. It shouldn't take 5 seconds You also will want some sort of shred if your damage is low, and at least 1200 or so mana. Make sure you have crit chance / crit multi. etc My resists are not all "at 50% or lower". Lightning, Fire and Phys are capped. Void Resist doesn't matter because of Orian's Eye. Cold Resist is 56% but goes to cap because of the permanently up buff from teleport. Poison Resist doesn't really matter because we instantly cleanse poison stacks with Frost Claw, and have DoT mitigation from Orian's Eye and our gloves anyway. I am missing 13% Res from my Necrotic, which means 13% increased damage from that, not a big deal. Resists in LE don't work like other ARPGs, it's not a big deal to not be capped. Check the game guide if you want to understand the math on that Source; my level 100 hardcore character doesn't even have capped resists
This looks like a lot of fun! I haven't finished watching the guide yet, but would you say it's super gear-intensive, or is it viable early in the endgame too?
This version needs fairly good gear, but the pure Spark Charge setup linked in the description excels with basically no gear. If you check my live VODs I just finished a hardcore stream leveling with Glacier into Frost Claw at level 51 and you can see how strong it is early on. Basically destroys everything with no gear at all
@@FrozenSentinel How would someone know when to stop from the Spark Charge build to this one? Is there a general suggestion there? Edit: Disregard, you make it clear in the video 1300 mana and 100+ intelligence Also, on a separate note - you're an absolute GOAT for how much effort/thought you've put into the video, build, and google sheet planner - the value is absolutely bonkers. Many thanks!
I was reviewing your gear and skills to try and tune my character up some and I saw you don't have any points in Gift of Winter. Does your 3LP wand has a -4 mana cost?
Yea, you'll want to get as much xp per hour as possible (favor per hour) and run wand prophecies this was the setup I used; ruclips.net/video/Dcon6vY_lDI/видео.html but it probably won't be worth setting up until at least 300 corruption
Hello. Thanks for yor guide. Just would like to ask its any lighter version of loot filter for leveling. Thats on top what you giving its really strict and for high levels. Thanks if you will help with this.
I don't have a lighter version of lootfilter sorry, that is the one I currently use. You can probably use the one from the FC Sorc Guide in the description but I don't believe it has all the static orb stuff included
Trying to figure out my mana cost properly and your mana calculator is showing an error for me. with -3 mana cost my frost claw is 42. with -4 it is 40, and with -5 mana cost wrong warp it is 38. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am using 21 points as you show in the video. Any suggestions? I noticed you had a -5 weapon and was showing 41.8 mana cost. Great video by the way, as always. Brian
Hey man, I am the guy who posted those boots on reddit the other day. I am still on your original build but hit a serious plateau. Embarassingly, the main reason is I am struggling big time versus T4 Julra. I beat her on various build in different versions in previous versions. However, I usually did so by pushing my dps to a level that trivialized the fight. Now, with the ward bars, she is really difficult to me. I am not particularly great with boss fights, but she in particular I hate. Having to run through the maze each attempt doesn't help. Therefore, I am wondering what the threshold would be to transition to static orb merely with the goal of killing her quickly enough. I am happy to spec back into the base build but as of now, all my big upgrades resolve around slamming level 75 + uniques (I have a 2 lp wrongwarp that i am unable to slam).
Maybe try crafting a Fractured Crown and getting a confluence of fate to swap in for the fight assuming you do the combo correctly you should need very little gear to oneshot Julra, make sure you also have crit chance, crystal skull if necessary.
@@FrozenSentinel great idea. I am sitting at 1600 mana now, went down to 136 int. Will wait for well rolled crown, egg, slam crown and then slam Julra ;)
@@FrozenSentinel This eventually worked out. Wasn't a clean one hit, so I had to focus after time shifting and run up to her again for another rotation, which is REALLY scary without any ward. Did manage to kill her and immediately slammed the 2 LP Wrongwarp. Ended up hitting T7 crit multi and T5 lightning pen, which was the second best outcome (perfect would have been mana/mana as ward instead of lightning pen). Considering I was super unlucky with slams this cycle, I am very happy that the biggest slam so far went well. Also, now I can actually oneshot her.
Hello thanks for the build !! But, i have a fps issue (like 0.5-1s freeze) when i frost claw into a big pack. Did u observe fps issue with this build ?
I dont suppose there is a useful passive i can use instead of arcane ascendance, not keen on learning the mechanics of doing all that in the middle of a boss fight, but if i must, i must.
Also: This build can only be played using CoF. The amount of gold you need to even think running this in MG is literally insane. You're looking probably at a 30/40bil investment maybe even more. And that's why MG, with a 1.5bil cap will never ever work, it's only viable for whales that invests oike 1k$ in gold boosts.
The 1.5bil gold cap is not the true problem imo, the problem is that gold exploits caused players to have that much gold in the first place. When you consider how much gold is generated naturally (excluding exploits) it wouldn't be reasonable for players to reach those numbers.
Lil question about the loot filter, does the option "hide everything" literally does that? or does it allows to show all the other stuff it filters? Thanks for the info!
Can attunement stacking work with this build? since static orb scales with total mana, woudnt it boost its burst damage or int is a much more superior stat overall?
It's probably not worth it, it's a prefix that only gives us 2 mana per point iirc. Mana and INT are also prefixes, and getting mana directly is generally more efficient, INT gives us 4% ward retention, 2 flat damage on Spark Charge, 4% increased damage, 3% increased crit chance, etc.
Just dropped Arcane Regalia with T6 Mana and Armor and reduced damage from crit, T5 INT, T5 void res and seal T4 fire res...Could be better than a bad Unstable Core?
How much dps is needed to be able to one shot abberoth? My static orb is 490k unbuffed, about 2 million when all buffs active. Any recommended stats to aim for? CHC, CHD, int, mana, etc?
Mana, High Crit Chance, Crit Multi, and Increased Damage are priority for oneshot. You are probably fairly close, just need to make sure it doesn't break out of stunlock, otherwise it enters 90% DR phase transition. Make sure you don't attack too soon either, 90% DR for the first few seconds
That's pretty normal, I also didn't have any Red Rings when I reached level 100, but that was 3 weeks ago on day 3 of the cycle. To give some context it takes about 400M total experience to level a fresh character from 0 to 100, I currently farm about 310K favor per hour which works out to about 150M xp per hour. That's the equivalent of leveling a fresh character from 0 to 100 every 2.5 hours. This favor is what I use to get prophecies, and how I get so many of these crazy items. This character has effectively leveled to 100 many many times over by now because of how fast it can farm very hard content with huge XP / Reward boosts.
@@FrozenSentinel you farm favor from killing the dragon fast like i saw in one of your videos? or was that for harbinger favor only? maybe you can do a video on this as well in the future. Not many know how to effectively use cof, including myself :)
in the beginning of the video where you one shot aberroth it showed you have 2000 mana and super charged it to 3000 before the fight. how did you get that much mana? since your gear is the planner has no where near that much mana. I'm trying to one shot aberroth with slightly weaker build than what you shown in the planner and i get no where close. 106 int, 1416 mana, 100% crit, 300% crit multiplier, 74 flat spell, +300 lightning spell damage. i take off like 2 bars only before i run out of mana. I did notice in your video you waited a bit, dodged the first attack then went all out on the boss. does that make a difference vs just going all out as soon as i could.
Also it seems like Abberoth has a period where it takes significantly reduced damage while doing the animation, same with the harbingers. If you use your burst during this time you won't oneshot it.
So i'm trying to get into Sorc got a lot of the gear here 1200 mana. I just hate how squishy I am only in 250 corruption. Lagon just hit me for 10,542 damage and 1 shot me. I really love tanky chars is there a Tank version of this I can shoot for? Do I need damage taken goes to mana? I have flameward I just don't enjoy having to move out of the way of everything cause I'm fragile. I was under the impression that Sorc can become immortal with gear but maybe I'm doing something extremely wrong.
To be honest Lagon is one of those bosses that you just aren't intended to be able to "tank", it's certainly possible but probably not practical. For context last season I had an insanely tanky runemaster and ~800 corruption lagon would do about 40,000 damage to me if I facetanked it, that was through 5000 armor, 40%+ DR, cap res, cap crit mitigation, etc. You could use potentially use the invoker rings / dragoraths claw to generate insane amounts of ward, though you will give up a lot of damage and still it's hard to go past 10k ward with the diminishing nature of ward decay. Make sure you also have frailty somewhere, as that gives another 18% DR, and blind if you don't have crit mitigation. You should be able to get a lot more armor too if you want to prioritize that using eternal gauntlets / armor affixes on your gear. I think the easier route for you is likely to get to the point where you can just oneshot bosses so you don't need to fight them. Also it seems there was an unintended interaction that allowed you to become completely immortal with (iirc) the new ward endurance helm, but I think that's been fixed.
@@FrozenSentinel Thanks so much for the detailed response. Yea maybe the answer is more damage. I just love playing Tank classes though and was trying out Sorc. I'm used too block cap/armor cap builds and thought Sorc had an option there with Ward and Damage to mana or some other layers. Maybe Sorc for me should just be a boss killer and for mono's I just use something I can casually face tank everything in. I really don't like moving out of the way of mechanics I guess Sorc can do that if you 1 shot the boss. However rest of the time I love when mobs are hitting me and they do no damage.
@WhatIfTheories I'd honestly say this is still one of the tankier builds out there. It's just generally hard to become "basically immortal" in Last Epoch. You might want to consider trying a tanky bear druid build with 7k+ HP and huge amounts of DR / endurance / regen, these can feel close to immortal.
@@FrozenSentinel I have a Shield Bash FG as my main in 1k corruption. You are immortal vs all hit damage then only concern is Dots. You can afk in a mono for the most part cause every block is healing you and your block capped with 14k eff. It's good vs most bosses can perma stun but some bosses it's annoying if they move and Abberoth cause he hops back. I can tank his slam though. I'll keep farming some Sorc gear but think my new project will be a VK Shield bash version to see if it's better. FG just lacks mobility and damage/HP nodes. Also maybe echo Shield bash gives the Dps boost I want for a tanky char. Thanks for you responses and great guides they truly are top notch to keep coming back too.
Apply slow with Frost Claw, there is a node in the skill tree. If your mana is under 1000 that's probably going to prevent oneshotting tankier bosses like Abberoth. You probably will need to swap extra crit chance in until your gear is more filled out to scale damage.
I’d say sorc itself is fine. Sparkle charge node and maybe lost knowledge are the only “broken” things. Static orb’s damage scaling from mana do need some rework though.
Excellent and detailed work but a 35 minute video with zero genuine game play to demonstrate how the build looks and works is disappointing. Maybe start out with clearing an echo and then killing a boss or something so that people that want to see can see and people that want to can skip and get straight into the nitty gritty.
@@FrozenSentinel Oh I'm a twat :D Never killed Abberoth so when I saw you standing in an empty arena I thought it was just the echo selection place and skipped ahead assuming the demo was later in the vid. My bad. I thought about deleting my comment but I'll just own being a muppet instead :)

It's a bug but I love that 👍

@@FrozenSentinel Yes, thanks, I will try to swap movement passives into int, also)
Just wanted to warn ppl that the build could be not casual friendly and could be even more difficult to play if transitioned too early.
yea it's definitely a more complicated and technical build than the FC Sorc
I had exact same experience and it made me leave this cycle altogether.
Keep making good videos like this it really helps. In particular i like that you give loot options and your options on wby your choosing this vs that, also i like that you give options for exacted gear and what to look for. Its so much better then what everyone else does.
Thank you! I like a lot of details so that's how I make my content :)
One of the 1st time I doesnt have any questions!!!!!!!! Very nice and informative video, as usual, Ty, sir!!! :D
Best build in the game by far
I've invested a few hours and nerves, now all that's missing is the amulet and the build is complete - it's a lot of fun
I’ve been playing your budget version with meteor and loving it, looking forward to transitioning into this one, thank you for all of this work!
Lvl 97 Frostbite version and struggling with Abberoth. I’ll transition to this tomorrow. Looking forward!
Question though:
When I use Arcane Ascendence, it only bring sup my static orb to 80-90k. Yours is sitting at 800k. What am I missing?
When it comes to Last Epoch, i will ONLY listen to Frozen Sentinel 🙌
Holy shit all those red rings and orian eye´s and that in cof, great stuff man love the build.
We don't mess around!
Glad to hear it!
I am just about to start playing this cycle - very excited to get this online.
Make sure to start with the standard FC Sorc setup in the description, static orb does take some gear to feel strong
Will do - thanks as always.
man no point to play cycle at this point u get same content in legacy mode.
Cycle was only made for ladders and few players already got lvl 100 in first 2 days
insane bro ,keep it up ;)
Amazing work as always!
Nice guide
Frozen you rule. Love the builds and appreciate the work you have shared with us! Can you please clarify how disintegrate is used for mobility?
Check the section on Flames of Midnight ring, it acts as a fire skill for spirit
@@FrozenSentinel Got it! Thanks for clarifying =))
Disclaimer for people who want to go for this build on MG. The mana + mana/armor idols are currently a minimum of 1,000,000,000 a piece. Everything else is also in the high millions.
Yeah mana stack is pretty meta right now, that's really rough
Ever since the gold exploit the money in circulation in the economy ballooned far more than anyone could have anticipated, and it really just never got any better at all. People just don’t realize how absurd the quantities were with the gold exploit.
great work dude, im sticking to coc meteor, glacier, static orb since i ve been using frost claw all cycle 1 and it feels great too. Happy u found the way to still playing frostclaw as u promised. Still loving loving your content. What u do think of the necklace from aborroth? seems pretty op to me if u can slam t7 mana in it
Yea it seems interesting, I don't think it beats Confluence of Fate for single target though. I'd consider it if you had a good one
@@FrozenSentinel ye cpnfluence is what im using rn...i ve been having a hard time to find exalted items this season....idk. got a bunch of uniques that i need to slam but lack ezalted items xD
You've brought me back to LE
Let's gooo! Welcome back :)
Yeah it's definitely worth it and will help your boss burst early on, need to make sure you time the burst with the uptime of the buff though
I love your guides thank you
Any chance of getting a spreadsheet build tab for this build? Love the work you and captainnoobzor have put in!
I might if I get a chance, those take a lot of time to put together and I made sure to talk about all the alternates in the video itself
Annihilation build 🔥🍺
thanks!! i didnt understand the desintegrate part!
You need a fire spell to spawn the spirit that you teleport to because of Flames of Midnight ring, I use disintegrate for that
Great work again, just a small side note when you mention one shots with static orb-might be confusing-it is not actually One shot, you shoot 3,4,5 times the static orb I think what you mean one rotation which means when you deplete your mana pool.
Very nice video Frozen. Thank you. Could you throw some tips to get the Fractured Crown please. Ty
Rune of Ascendance is the only way, 21 total affix tiers including mana / damage taken to mana before health on a Runed Visage. Affixes can be sealed
Can you explain the flat damage? How does +necrotic spell damage = flat damage for an electric scaling frost claw?
11:46 - The game allows you to add flat damage to skills of different elements
It’s so fast at clearing I didn’t want to play my other builds cause it so slow lol
상세한 설명감사합니다 사랑합니다
Spark Artillery is not necessary for the build, and I would even say not important
@@FrozenSentinel Ah all right then, thank you very much for the clarification. And just a few min ago I got a 3LP Wrongwap, so things are looking good :)
@@dechobarca grats!
Transient Rest does not give ward with evade or teleport, you have to move (walk)
It does, try it.
More precisely it gives ward when you stop moving with a 2s cooldown. Evade / teleport count as "stop moving"
@@FrozenSentinel nope
@@randomname123 I just tested it, I suggest you do the same before arguing
@@FrozenSentinel I think we misunderstood each other:
- if you are not moving and use evade it does not give ward, this a frequent scenario when you are casting in place for bosses (maybe not so much with your build or playstyle)
- if you are moving and then stop moving at the same time as you use evade it does give ward, I meant this scenario when I said that you have to walk, but I admit I didn't write it clearly and I just didn't bother reading your previous answer
@@randomname123 ah, yes. You can also tap your movekey while casting to queue up a fraction of a second of movement in between casts. Not sure if intended but seems to work
Big thanks to your sharing on Reddit, I'm still tinkering around, but I am able to do well in 200 corruption n beyond for now
Will do more tuning tomorrow, but I think a lot equipment especially LP unique gonna need time to farm 1st
excellent
/facepalm why didn't I find this video before I made my character....
I love myself the lightning claw variant, although with flames of midnight, wouldn't it make sense to pick the fire claw? you'd be able to skip the disintegrate slot on your bar as well
You could if you prefer that, but then you lose control over when the spirit spawns and I don't like that
Please teach me the order of effective skills when holding the boss
There is a section of the video that goes over this, see chapters in description
It shouldn't take 5 seconds
You also will want some sort of shred if your damage is low, and at least 1200 or so mana. Make sure you have crit chance / crit multi. etc
My resists are not all "at 50% or lower".
Check the game guide if you want to understand the math on that
Source; my level 100 hardcore character doesn't even have capped resists
This looks like a lot of fun! I haven't finished watching the guide yet, but would you say it's super gear-intensive, or is it viable early in the endgame too?
This version needs fairly good gear, but the pure Spark Charge setup linked in the description excels with basically no gear. If you check my live VODs I just finished a hardcore stream leveling with Glacier into Frost Claw at level 51 and you can see how strong it is early on. Basically destroys everything with no gear at all
@@FrozenSentinel That's super helpful, I'll check it out! Thanks a ton!
@@FrozenSentinel How would someone know when to stop from the Spark Charge build to this one? Is there a general suggestion there?
Edit: Disregard, you make it clear in the video 1300 mana and 100+ intelligence
Also, on a separate note - you're an absolute GOAT for how much effort/thought you've put into the video, build, and google sheet planner - the value is absolutely bonkers. Many thanks!
Please test if this builder can reach a certain degree of contamination
It can speed farm 1000 corruption, I haven't bothered to push further but there are people beyond 3k with this build.
I was reviewing your gear and skills to try and tune my character up some and I saw you don't have any points in Gift of Winter. Does your 3LP wand has a -4 mana cost?
Yes
What's the best way to farm Wrongwarp? Monolith and target farm from prophecies?
Yea, you'll want to get as much xp per hour as possible (favor per hour) and run wand prophecies this was the setup I used; ruclips.net/video/Dcon6vY_lDI/видео.html but it probably won't be worth setting up until at least 300 corruption
Are the Fingers of Phantom mire an Option with 3 lp? I can have swiftness with two red rings. Thanks again for the build
Yea it's fine if you can get double prefix
@@FrozenSentinel From what level i can use your filter. Its ok from early monolyth?
You can use it early but you will probably want to edit the exalt rules to show T6 as I am currently hiding most of them now
Trying to figure out my mana cost properly and your mana calculator is showing an error for me. with -3 mana cost my frost claw is 42. with -4 it is 40, and with -5 mana cost wrong warp it is 38. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am using 21 points as you show in the video. Any suggestions? I noticed you had a -5 weapon and was showing 41.8 mana cost. Great video by the way, as always.

With -4 or -5 you can't use gift of winter
I have 0 points in gift of winter

@@FrozenSentinel Been out of town, but that was it, Frost Claw efficiency on idol. GG
@@ShafiMB Very nice, congrats!
Hello thanks for the build !!
But, i have a fps issue (like 0.5-1s freeze) when i frost claw into a big pack.
Did u observe fps issue with this build ?
Yea, unfortunately that can happen. A lot of calculations at the same time
I dont suppose there is a useful passive i can use instead of arcane ascendance, not keen on learning the mechanics of doing all that in the middle of a boss fight, but if i must, i must.
It's not mandatory but you'll lose a lot of DPS
@@FrozenSentinel i became a big fan of it, it really helps you just practically exlode them away.
@@FrozenSentinel Since I'm here.... Conflience of faith is still an upgrade even badly slammed (no mana only critmulti)?
Lil question about the loot filter, does the option "hide everything" literally does that? or does it allows to show all the other stuff it filters? Thanks for the info!
filters work top to bottom. If rule 1 says show item x, and rule 2 says hide all items, item x is shown, item y is hidden.
@@FrozenSentinel Thanks a lot! This helped me lots!
Ok... I feel really dumb.... but my static orb has a cooldown.... am I missing g something?
You probably have "Auxiliary Capacity" in the Static Orb tree
Im having trouble nuking corruption 150 bosses.
I'd say to post your planner in the discord and we can try to help :)
Yea it's probably better, that's a very good body armor
why my static orb only use 11 mana and i have a cooldown of 3.2 sec
You don't have the correct nodes in the Static Orb tree, see my planner
how does spell necrotic adds damage when you deal elemental?
I answered that in the "Gear - Amulet" section of the video
How much dps is needed to be able to one shot abberoth? My static orb is 490k unbuffed, about 2 million when all buffs active. Any recommended stats to aim for? CHC, CHD, int, mana, etc?
Mana, High Crit Chance, Crit Multi, and Increased Damage are priority for oneshot. You are probably fairly close, just need to make sure it doesn't break out of stunlock, otherwise it enters 90% DR phase transition.
Make sure you don't attack too soon either, 90% DR for the first few seconds
Could you not just make your frost claw fire instead of swapping to disintigrate?
probably, you don't get control over when it procs though which I find annoying
@@FrozenSentinel ooh right yeah that makes sense
May i ask where the link is to the pure frostclaw build?

You can unallocate the point before you swap. Problem solved.
I assume you are talking about static orb? You would still need to re-level it
is this theoretically viable to play on spellblade? would like to try this build but im to lazy to reroll :D
No, spellblade cannot proc spark charges this way
Nice, now we're talking
If they nerf this too next cycle i will uninstall the game for good
lol I can already tell you this will certainly be nerfed, not a chance it doesn't

24:44
@@FrozenSentinelahh yes - fantastic mate. Thank you
How do you have so many great items? For instance so many atlaria rings...i have zero and i am almost lvl 100.
The dragon thing has been hotfixed, doesn't work anymore. This is the current meta; ruclips.net/video/Dcon6vY_lDI/видео.html
Is the old legendary sparkcharge supernova frostclaw dead?
Isn't not as good anymore, I did try it as spellblade though and it seemed promising; ruclips.net/video/6ftGXbX3YHU/видео.html
in the beginning of the video where you one shot aberroth it showed you have 2000 mana and super charged it to 3000 before the fight. how did you get that much mana? since your gear is the planner has no where near that much mana.
Nevermind, just saw your boss swap gear, makes sense now.😅
Also it seems like Abberoth has a period where it takes significantly reduced damage while doing the animation, same with the harbingers.
I find echos so easy but bossing is a major problem. What am I missing?
Probably mana or crit chance I would guess. Also possible not applying slow / getting ascendance boost.
My mana is around 600-->800 when I tele.
I could swap out julras with a crit chance ring and put prismatic on maybe. I'll also check the slow- how do u apply slow?
@@FrozenSentinel❤
Apply slow with Frost Claw, there is a node in the skill tree. If your mana is under 1000 that's probably going to prevent oneshotting tankier bosses like Abberoth. You probably will need to swap extra crit chance in until your gear is more filled out to scale damage.
SORCERER build that is going to be nerfed next cycle
yes 100%
I’d say sorc itself is fine. Sparkle charge node and maybe lost knowledge are the only “broken” things. Static orb’s damage scaling from mana do need some rework though.
can you double stack julras?
yes
this build is not on the spreadsheet?
Correct, haven't made one for this build
@@FrozenSentinel just wondering cause it was on the table of content hhahaha I thought I was going blind
yea the video is linked there, but no spreadsheet yet
Does int affect damage?
Yes. +3% increased crit chance per int, +4% increased damage, +2 flat damage per spark charge, etc
best build in the game, but my friend ballista falkoner farming 3000+ corrupt easy... ballista god tier in this season
Excellent and detailed work but a 35 minute video with zero genuine game play to demonstrate how the build looks and works is disappointing. Maybe start out with clearing an echo and then killing a boss or something so that people that want to see can see and people that want to can skip and get straight into the nitty gritty.
What are you talking about, I literally start the video with an Abberoth kill followed by an echo lol
@@phr00tpie haha, love it
cant kill aberroth with a good build BUT yea some built one-shot him....great job LE team !!!!! gonna delete this shit game
