Loved this video!! And your transition thumbnails with the collage type is so fun!!! Have you ever thought about creating reading journal content? Would love to see how you srt up your reading journal but I completely understand if your reading journal is a personal outlet. 😉 Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and for putting amazing books on our radar.

I LOVE the color of your wall! I hope you’re doing well and feel better. I’ve owned “Call Me By Your Name” for about 4 years and I still have never read it, and I’m not even sure I would feel comfortable reading it today. Maybe that’s a sign that I should read this story. Thank your that visual of tern because I needed to see that and I had no idea what you were talking about. 😅 I really enjoy that you read a few sentences from the book because it helps me get an idea of the type of writing style the author provokes. I am VERY interested in reading Natural Beauty but need to get to Rouge first. I hope you feel proud with yourself because of all of the difficult stories you’ve read!!!!! ❤ Cheers and happy reading!

quote from aciman: No, I don't care. The other day, talking with a friend, I told him "I see 12-year-old girls and I already find them attractive," and he told me, "Me too, but you can't talk about it." And I replied, "No, never." Because if you talk about it, you're almost guilty of it. I do not commit the act, but you have no idea of the scabrous and disgusting ideas that come to our minds. How is it possible that he thought of something like that? But it is what happens in our mind. One of the things I do in my prose is to allow the reader to feel that he can undo the taboos and realize that, if I can talk about the peach, it is because you have a peach in your life. You have also done something that crazy. And if you haven't done it, what kind of human being are you? We all explore in life."
which is.. something i guess. i would say i have mixed opinions, like the extent to where his mind goes or the fact that he has more than one book with a minor + adult relationship is questionable but also... hes right? from mild thoughts to intrusive thoughts to acting on urges its all complicated but still kind of gives me the ick and i cant figure out if i want to try one of his books or not

Oh my gosh! Thx for sharing that. 🤮 I had NO idea he has multiple books on the subject. I don’t even wanna check what the rest are cuz I have zero interest in reading more about it. Like u said: thoughts don’t lead to actions. But if it’s a repeated theme, it makes me wonder what is up with him o. O
I do not blame u for not knowing if u wanna read his books. I myself got the ick from the movie and didn’t wanna read the book at all :/

It's hard to see what books you're talking about when you hold them. A picture on the screen might be better because you move the book around a bit.

Thanks for the tip! I’m still tryna figure out my cam settings. I listed all the books I mentioned in the description box too!

It just helps with knowing which book you're talking about and when. If you move them around, it's hard to navigate the video when you might want to skip through!@@ivanainthecity
