    I could name great guitarists, known and not known to all of us, whom I admire for different or the same reasons, but, in my humble opinion, like Buckethead... THERE IS NOTHING SIMILAR. And for this same reason he is my favorite guitarist. Within this "NOTHING SIMILAR" that belongs to my opinion there are many reasons and one of them is his humility and musical and personal charisma.
    This live version of Scraps has been in my life several times for several years, sometimes to elevate it and others to save it. Just the mental effect of his music on me seems like philanthropy to me.
    LONG LIVE AND HEALTH TO THIS MUSICAL PRODIGY.

    I have watched this clip so many times.. and Im still amazed at the innate talent and sheer guitar wizardry that those lucky bastards saw the night Bucket tore this shit up. I have watched and listened to many other live renditions of Scraps but none of them stand up to the six string sonic attack IMO of this version even with the so so quality. He truly is a musician, artist, and savant of the highest order.

    well Holy shit!, how awesome would that have been to be there hearing that in full blown live amps mode!, as bad as the recording is sound wise, this video blows me away! He's standing there in the corner in a pair of plaid pajama's just flying on that thing, I partiularly like right after he makes those 3 adjustments and then leans foreward as if to say, ya that's it right there, I can't hear the difference, but he can. absolutely the best 6 and a half minutes of guitar I have ever heard

    • @giantrobot5804
      @giantrobot5804 5 лет назад +2

      @@climbatize9175It looks like he was adjusting the "SOLO" knob on the Mesa I cant work out if its the Dual Rec solo or the triple rec. Either way thats where the solo setting is dialed in. It's basically just a boost and I actually think he lowers it to reduce the high end a bit. It is only slight, but it clears up the delays sound too which is why you could also assume he adjusts the dealy.
