The house in the video with a guy sitting out on the porch was at the end of my Street. Denham st in the CBD.

Great clip! It was a lucky accident that Lowenstein followed INXS to London. I love the way the song builds and tracks the narrative of the video as the band transitions from playing gigs around Qld to hitting the big time OS.

this was the first video I saw when I arrived in my hotel room in Sydney at 6am on all night video channel after a long flight from Manila where I had been working prior .. what an introduction to Australia and their music scene loved the energy and the raw sexuality in Michael's voice and the mixing of music genres..I had a feeling way back then they had what it takes to break out of the Aussie music scene ...and the rest is history! Miss you Michael and miss you INXS .. time for a world tour of small intimate venues like when you played the Town and Country ...such a happening gig! way better then Wembley stadium or Docklands :-) xx

This use to get air time at The Exchange hotel on Oxford St Sydney in the mid 80's it would pack the dance floor, still love it in 2018.
