Hi Terry, your workshop is looking good, a place for every thing and every thing in it's place. The French cleat is a good idea and great for storing your battery tool and accessories. About 1.30 in you were saying about a socket in the middle of the room do you have a supply to your bench to power your saw my be fit a socket or two to your workbench. I do like the way you got your workshop set up I bet your happy with it and the thing is your workshop is an on going progress that is never ending always evolving and improving. Great video catch you soon Take care
@@shaun30-3-mg9zs thanks Shaun, I’ve got plenty of sockets, 12 double to be precise 😂 but the one on the ceiling is smack bang in the middle and I thought it would come in handy but it means the lead gets in the way, although it’s perfect for the ceiling mounted air filter, I will just plug the saw into the wall the future just like I did in the rest of the video, thanks again for watching. 😊
Workshop really coming along 👍🏻. A very nice place to be. I was just thinking “he always looks so smart when he’s working” then I saw the front of your jumper so I now know you’re really one of us 😂
We'll done Terry coming along nicely at 23'50there is a circular saw and drill shelf? You could just add a cleat to that . I've got French cleats on 3 sides of the work shopping making tool holders👍
Loved the kitchen work but it's the workshop I've been waiting for you to get back in to. Hope you're starting to enjoy the space. Just wondering as I've yet to buy any Plywood for any projects and the price of Birch Ply is exorbitant over here in blighty but what ply are you using here?
@@Terrythemaker Is it just their hardwood ply ~£40 a sheet? It looks decent enough if so. Thanks for responding, been reluctant to just order some not knowing how decent it is (or isn’t)
I think so I bought it ages ago, but I must admit I always go in store and pick the boards I want , as I once ordered some OSB and had it delivered, and I rejected it due to badly chipped edges and sides. I’ve only ever bought the ply in 600x1200 sheets which fits in the car.
Thanks Terry, that looks great, and all nicely to hand !
Fantastic job, your workshop is looking really good. A place for every tool
@@SteveP59 thanks Steve 👍🏼

@@300Exige 🤣 yes I ruin jumpers all the time with glue, paint or mastic, but that’s an old jumper that’s seen better days.

Wow! , 3 walls of cleats, I bet that looks good, I’m not sure I know what you mean about adding a cleat to the shelf ?
Tidy 👍
Nice job Terry, surprised your sander is not cordless
So am I, I’m not sure what I was thinking when I bought it 😂

Hi Chris, I’m using 18 mm ply from Wickes, I found it be the best for value for money. Thanks for watching

Have you thought about putting the French cleat at the top of shelf or bracket, I’m sure that’s what most people do.
@@lloydmelsome-smith6629 that’s a very good point, I may look at that when I add to it 👍🏼
