can you create custom design or is the embroidery only available with what is available in the design maker you provide? I tried uploading a file to create a crew neck with embroidered initials in the large center area and was not able to do so..
Hey! In general, you can create custom designs for embroidery. However, custom file upload is not yet available for the large center placement. For large center placement you can use our ready quick designs and clipart, as well as the text tool. Custom embroidery designs are available for all other placements. 😊
Hi, you mentioned the images should be in vector format before digitisation, but when I tried to upload SVG to Printul, it got rejected. What other vector format can be used?
Yes, it can! And even better results can be achieved with unlimited color embroidery. You can learn more about it here - www.printful.com/unlimited-color-embroidery 😉
For embroidery, you can find a list of all supported thread colors under the ''File guidelines'' section for each product. Simply head to any embroidered product's page > File guidelines > scroll down until you see the full list of available thread colors for standard embroidery. 😉
Hey! If you've selected a white thread, the final product will have a white thread as well! If it's turning grey in the mockup, please let us know by sending a message to support@printful.com.
Hey! You can use our Background Removal Tool for that - help.printful.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408443599890-Where-can-I-find-the-Background-Removal-Tool-. 😊
I've been trying to get the 3D embroidery completed for the past week. I've literally followed every single guideline that is out in the universe for Printful and it still does not work when I upload the file. Printfuls tutorials are absolutely worthless when it comes to getting 3D embroidery done. Fix your instructions.
You need to talk about the programs we should use to create our graphics. You made a single reference to submitting a vector based logo, so you should be saying to use a program like Adobe Illustrator or Gimp or some other vector based programs. The guidelines you give, without connecting them to programs that graphic designers use is not helpful for beginners. Also talking about your guidelines in comparison to graphics we use for print mentioning DPI required and also max size dimensions would also be helpful.
Thank you for your feedback, we'll keep that in mind! 😊 We have prepared a blog article about 16 Photoshop alternatives that you can explore right here - www.printful.com/blog/adobe-photoshop-alternatives. And here are our guidelines on how to make the perfect print file - www.printful.com/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-to-prepare-the-perfect-printfile.
Printful has the worst tutorials. Sorry but I would recommend doing a whole new series and hire a professional. I don’t want to see someone standing in front of the camera. I want to see a step by step of the platform and the workflow. There’s no good reason why printful can’t provide better quality content. These days AI should be able to help. The whole interface needs a series of videos for different use cases. Get rid of the kid on the screen. It’s not helpful. Thanks.
Have you already tried creating an embroidery design with Printful’s Design Maker?
looking forward to the new colors!
How to I get an outline like that red and black fox logo. I put my logo on a hat but the outline did not look share and the edges were not pointy

Hey! Vector graphics files like AI and PDF are highly recommended. 😊
Thanks, didn't realize about these.
I also tried to inquire with support about submitting a vector, but was told you only accept png, jpg, or pdf. So which is it really?
Can the embrioday have like a shade in the back of it ? like a word that has dark pink and then light pink shade outlining it?
Yes, it can! And even better results can be achieved with unlimited color embroidery. You can learn more about it here - www.printful.com/unlimited-color-embroidery 😉

If you design with embroidery in white colour why does it turn into grey instead of white i've selected?

Hey! We don't accept already digitized files for embroidery, but you can upload your design in our Design Maker and we'll digitize it for you. 🙂

I am a professional machine embroidery designer.
Can I sell embroidered clothes through your service by sending you my machine embroidery designs?
Hey! 😊 You're more than welcome to sell embroidered clothing, but your embroidery designs will be digitized by our in-house specialists.
Why the fuck isn't this the default?.......
Why is it so difficult to find the option for digitization
